Well your above comment is a total contradiction. Your saying the pools were big because the pools coverage was wordwide,but the tv coverage being world wide made no difference to the pools "per se". I will stand on my head when i read that next time to see if that makes more sense. The whole world pool thing is just an extension of the very argument i'm putting forward. I'm arguing the principle of Greater coverage leads to greater turnovers. That principle applies to a dog race at dubbo on a monday afternoon,a harness race at manawatu on a tuesday evening or a gallops race at ellerslie on a saturday afternoon. Maximise the timeslots that you get greatest pre race lead in coverage on any given day/night nz harness are held and you maximise the turnovers.I've previously suggested targeting the harness jackpots with the carry forward money into those timeslots and you get big pools.The proofs always there if you follow the data. I have given the data above as to why western australia recognise why its so important. -
A Kiwi runner in the Slipper is never a moral. Their 2YOs are just so much quicker than ours, but ours mature better as 3/4YOs. He looks like a nice and tough type though. Good to see him fight off the challenger. -

Surely this 2yo superstar heads off the contest the Slipper ? Best kiwi trained chance since McGinty, doesn't appear to be much in the Aus 2yo ranks this season so the unbeaten son of Snitzel looks a moral for top 3 , make the purchase price look cheap when he lands the Slipper.

Race 1 PROPERTY BROKERS MAIDEN 1600m VOLTESSA (V Colgan) – Trainer Mr. A Forsman reported to Stewards, he was satisfied with the post-race condition of VOLTESSA, and it is his intention to carry on with the mare’s current preparation. Race 3 COLCHESTER 2000m FUN NEVER SETS (S Spratt) – Trainer Ms. K Hoskin advised Stewards, he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the filly, however, FUN NEVER SETS has now been sent for a spell. Race 5 FAIRVIEW MATAMATA 1200m NICCONI COUNTY (T Moodley) – Co-trainer Mr. R Vance reported to Stewards, after undergoing a post-race endoscopic examination which showed mucus in the gelding’s trachea, NICCONI COUNTRY was placed on a four-day treatment of medication. R Vance further advised it is the stables intention to look to nominate NICCONI COUNTRY at the Racing Tauranga meeting on Saturday 15 March.
