    • Very doubtful he does, I see in his latest update he is out meeting stakeholders (kissing babies, shaking hands) he won't be listening to any of the grass roots stakeholders concerns nor will he be allowed to.  Unfortunately it will be the same crowd who have us in the state of demise he will be following.

    • The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame has opened submissions for the annual juried photography exhibition Photo Finish, the organization announced via press release Monday morning. Professional and amateur photographers are encouraged to submit artistic and unique perspectives with up to two photos allowed per person. The pictures must relate to Thoroughbred racing in America, including but not limited to: racing and training scenes, the backstretch, life on the farm, and fan emotions. An application form is available at the museum's visitor center desk and may be downloaded digitally here. A panel of judges representing racing and arts communities will select the photographs for the exhibit at the museum, which will open in the von Stade Gallery in November. Additional entries may be considered in the online exhibition at the jurors' discretion. Last year's Photo Finish online display may be accessed here. • The Bansha House Stables open morning is back for another year and takes place on Saturday, April 5, at 9.30am sharp. The inaugural open morning went down a bomb-despite arctic conditions-and Con Marnane, whose graduates include Sands Of Mali, Prince Of Lir, Powerful Glory and more, says he is keen to build on last year's edition and to make the open morning a yearly occurrence.  “We are slightly snookered with the date, as Munster are playing in the ruby and then you have the Dubai World Cup and the Grand National as well, but it's really the only date that we could go for. Last year was amazing. Despite the weather, there were four or five hundred people here, and we'd like to try and keep it to that sort of number going forward.” To that extent, Marnane says he is hoping to see as many industry stakeholders as possible at Bansha House Stables on Saturday morning where the guts of 20 breeze-up bound juveniles will be on show.  “We have a lovely bunch of horses this year and we're looking forward to the breeze-up sales in Ireland, England and France over the coming weeks and months. When we left Australia last year having been attending Magic Millions, we just felt we weren't doing enough to promote our horses at home in Ireland. Last year went great-we'd a BBQ, a bar and it wasn't just about showcasing the horses, we'd right craic as well. Saturday will be right craic again and we are really looking forward to it-hopefully the weather will play ball this year!” The post Marnane Promises ‘Right Craic’ At Bansha House Open Morning appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
