  1. The Kiwi is 1500m. They might have the pedigree but I doubt many of them would get 2400m nor want to.
  2. Can you imagine @Huey and @TAB For Ever at the same leaner in a bar?
  3. Some of them should be already. The Auckland Cup is already on alert.
  4. I can't see how it is a "total disaster". Which horses were forced to choose what race to start in? I don't see any of the NZB Kiwi starters running the Derby distance.
  5. Obviously you don't follow your own advice to Track Managers and you have been irrigating them!
  6. 8 mins? Yeah in an ambulance with a Police escort!
  7. Easy. @mikeynz has asked a fair question albeit a tad inelegantly.
  8. I don't find it concerning. I gather the functionality was added in response to customer requests and to meet statutory requirements in other countries. Yes it could be used for nefarious purposes however it would be clearly apparent to the author and ultimately wouldn't be popular with the wider community. I have had reason to use the functionality upon request from a poster to edit a part of a post that wasn't what they intended or after being warned that the content was offensive or defamatory. In those instances I will record the reason for the edit and make the reason visible for all to see. My policy is to hide a post that crosses certain lines - they are never deleted just made not visible to anyone other than the administrator or moderators. What I find more concerning is where an administrator or moderator will selectively delete or hide posts for no other reason than to manipulate the fair exchange of opinions and/or to personally denigrate a contributor.
  9. Well @SLB2.0 is talking about 10 to 15 years ago. At that time the only way to gain access to someone elses account was either by the backend database, which as you would know requires a degree of technical skill that the average person doesn't have, or by changing the password of a user and accessing the account from the front end. In @SLB2.0 's case and a number of others the second option was used.
  10. When did you first have access to the back end of "this software"?
  11. @SLB2.0 there were worse cases than yours. Higher profile as well that involved a lot of money changing hands in the end. Two owners of the other site at the time - one several leagues more intelligent that the other.
  12. Some investors choose head winds and drop in share price as a time to buy on stocks that have a longer term upside. For example Corvex Management Fund bought more shares in each dip recently and have made instant gains. Posting a 1 week share price drop or rise is pointless. However smart investors dived in when the price dropped suddenly when the CEO resigned. They bought at the low point and the price rebounded in 3 days.
  13. No fillies allowance?
  14. Defeatist. Surely it will go to NZTR to fund track upgrades?
  15. As if there aren't other sources of racing news!
  16. Why focus on the bad news? Entain is still recommended by most financial analysts as a buy stock. The issues with AML and regulatory requirements is something that has caused issues for all the big players in the wagering and gambling sector. The good news is the ENTAIN share price has risen 18% in the last 6 months and is only down 5% for the last 5 years. The profit figures for the financial year is expected to be released in a few days and is projected to be above target at GBP$1.09 billion (NZD$2.47 billion).
  17. Instead of calling everyone a muppet (while sounding like one) why not tell us all what you DO know?
  18. Go Evaporate.
  19. BTW It's Tuesday and most of the races in OZ are very small and they are racing for AUD$29K.
  20. Jolly good. So everyone wins. Seriously who could beat Crocetti or Alabama Lass?
  21. Obviously Stakes don't mean didly. Although I've noticed trainers haven't worked out that you get more running down the track in a high stakes race than a mid week open at a dodgy track down the road.
  22. Rennel shouldn't have talked to Michael Morrah. The latter has only one motive and that is to ban ALL racing. It embarrasses me that a poster on BOAY has been for a long time feeding misinformation to him. What say you @Yankiwi ?
  23. Of course there is another factor at Ellerslie in my opinion. Probably New Plymouth as well. The tracks.
  24. Yet at Gore 4 races are still left open? Cherry picking @curious. As for the Open Sprint at Ellerslie isn't that more a reflection of who IS nominated and the lack of horses in that grade?
  25. Can't have been that recent. Last raced in August 2022 when it bled. Did have a hurdle rating of 50.
