  1. A third tier Aussie bought at Karaka?
  2. Arguably the best bar one going around at the moment. Not a bad field at all. The Kiwi B for 3yr olds has screwed the pattern.
  3. Certainly not punting. So how many lots do you own in Book 1 at Karaka? So you are not a member of that club? Mmmm how do you make a living? Making horse covers? Perhaps you are onto something and there is a correlation between those types of Jockeys and when racing was most popular.
  4. Well all the major share brokers are saying BUY BUY BUY.
  5. Just as I thought you are one those who is obsessed with hating the sport of racing to the point you'll do anything to bring it down. I suggest @Thomass that you and @curious buy a pony and join a club. If you are now having pangs of guilt for your past involvement in the sport of racing I suggest you go to the confessional and bend over and absolve yourself. Meanwhile the rest of us will get on and enjoy racing. Racing has always been about competing for a prize of some sort. Get over it.
  6. Which proves my point. If you didn't notice then 99.9% of viewers don't either. Except @Thomass who trawls the Stewards Reports when he gets to work on Monday. I very much doubt the Stewards see it in real time either instead they rewind the HD Video for each race and watch in slow mo with a clicker counter and a protractor. No wonder they need 35 minutes between races.
  7. What the Jockey shied?
  8. Or back at work and using the Governments internet connection.
  9. Follow your own advice. It was only last week that you were laying into her whip use. FFS hypocrites. I detest them.
  10. Only so much you can do in 18 months of training and racehorse. It doesn't worry me and the majority of punters watching a race. Most of them don't notice and have moved onto the next race. It is only they likes of @Thomass that gives the view oxygen. I've seen it happen in Greyhounds and Harness where the likes of the @Thomass's of this world kill the sport. So what if Jockeys cop a fine or disqualification for breaking the rules? Banning the whip just throws out the baby in the tub. Quite frankly I'm getting tired of the woke negative prick hypocrites like @Thomass and @Yankiwi. If they don't like the sport of racing then go play Chess. As for social license it is a bullshit construct that has no meaning except to a minority who want to impose their negativity on others.
  11. Are you serious @Gammalite - not forgetting the irony of your avatar being named after Gammalite! Horses in old style cowboy moview are generally older horses over 5 years of age. The rider has lot longer stirrups and wears spurs - hence the ability to give a good belt into the belly with the heal. They ride westen style with one hand and often longer tails on the reins which are used in a whipping fashion. Not to mention the rolled up lassoo which can pack a rear handed punch. In the movies anyway.
  12. I've worked it out! You record the coverage so you can watch when you are sober! Hence your news is old news!
  13. I don't think they are as obssessed as you are nor go off piss-te! That said British racing is really going well...not! At the very least they have a better command of the English language!
  14. You are quite welcome to post your wacky obsessions on other social media however I see you have given up using X. Lack of customer interaction perchance?
  15. Hand your stake back as a matter of principle.
  16. But if Titicaca had been beaten a nose as an owner would you have been impressed?
  17. Why differentiate now between minor and major when the basis of you main argument is to ban the whip altogether. Hypocriscy abounds!! I counted 6 violations of the whip rules (which @Thomass would describe as blatant cheating) since 1 September 2021!!!!
  18. @curious you disappoint me. There is a difference when a horse that has just gone nearly 4,000m over numerous jumps on a heavy track and barely makes it over the last jump is whipped to maintain its stakes or dividend bearing place when it is stuffed compared to one in a winning position with 200m to run and has started to loaf around like a goon. The fact you confound your argument so often convinces me you are struggling to gain support for it WITHIN racing.
  19. How hard would it be for NZTR to provide more information to stakeholders like Trainers, Owners and Punters similar to what Hong Kong does? The graphics when watching the racing HK racing is fantastic. Surely they could have GPS enabled saddle cloths in NZ.
  20. From what date? Regardless rules are rules aren't they?
  21. To give @Thomass 's milk enough time to get hot enough to add to his Horlicks given it was his bed time.
  22. Two horse ran faster over 1200m at Trentham on 18 January 2025 than Ka Ying Rising did when winning by 6 lengths in a track record time at Sha Tin today! Mmmmm?
  23. Why does it matter? The principle is the same regardless. What rule date are you working by?
  24. Of course @curious on principle you'll never have Chris Johnson ride one of your horses again given his whip rule violations!
  25. Then don't watch or participate @curious go take up Chess and play online with @Thomass !!
