  1. No because there is no administrator in racing that understands racing. MIA Sharrock is the mantra.
  2. From what I can see it is only available in the smart phone app.
  3. Has some potential. Family challenges, pub challenges, around the table challenges, raceday oncourse syndicates. Just need one tech savvy person to help set it up and then everyone can play. Used to be a real pain oncourse with a group of people keeping track with a one day syndicate and only having the blank page at the back of the racebook. Which they eventually took away as a cost saving measure!
  4. Hi All For a laugh I set up what is essentially a Syndicate betting group on BETCHA - name BOAY. $10 entry. The rules are all on BETCHA and no one can run away with the winnings.
  5. It is only available through the App. What I do see with the new App is that the Bet Social makes it quite easy to set up a syndicate group which would be fun. One of the drawbacks I've had with Syndicates in the past is keeping everyone informed about what the bets were. Copying exotic multi's to text for was a nightmare.
  6. He's still living the high life on all the blood he got out of the TAB under the old rules! 7. I know - just giving @Brodie a prod. The new Betcha social app will be good though - we can all share our successful punts!!
  8. Is the "Bet Social" only available when using the Betcha App?
  9. @Brodie loves insurance.
  10. At those prices the Boys Get Paid will love it...because it is social.

  12. But it is the same NZ Entain company that has set it up. So presumably the policies will be the same across both sites. Assuming of course that the new site is more than just a domain name change and a different look.
  13. Maybe there is a short window of opportunity for our Master Bettor @Brodie to create a new account and "bet the odds"! Set up another account @Brodie they may not have your betting history transferred yet.
  14. Which is interesting in itself. How do they manage different accounts for the same punter on two platforms? From an AML and a Social Harm perspective. Perhaps there is a short window of opportunity for @Brodie ?
  15. Apparently the difference with BETCHA is the Social Bet option. Not that I can see where that options is. Personally I don't have enough friends to get involved. That said why set up another brand in NZ? Is it it a long term separation strategy? "Here you can have the old losing brand back if you let us continue with the new brand". Technically I'd say it is only just within the license rules.
  16. Isn't that still a work in progress? 🤔
  17. I'll answer my own question. Is they do have a separate trial track at Te Rapa.
  18. Is there a separate trial track at Te Rapa? If not how is it that Avondale has a restriction on the number of horses that can trial which was about 70 horses less than is going around today 4 days out from a Race Meeting this Saturday?
  19. Well certainly not to dust the fences at Riccarton! Did you see the clouds of dust come out when they jumped at the weekend?
  20. But didn't they also screw up a couple of Jumps Tracks? Like Te Aroha for instance.
