  1. Thanks Chazza. I see the One Turn stats are holding up.
  2. Your point? One charge was for the anti-inflammatory Ketoprofen which can be legitimately used but has a withholding period. That was 2010 at Wexford. It was administered outside the withholding period but the hirse didn't clear it within 100hrs. Happens.
  3. Well the BGP has never won much on the punt so you know what they say about doing the same thing again and expecting to get a different result!
  4. What's that if true got to do with the latest rumoured alleged positive?
  5. So what either way? You just keep believing what you want to. Won't be correct on change a thing. Try something different for a change.
  6. Just my assessment but we've established you don't know anything about price value in racing.
  7. Yep and they cut out the peasants with privileged entry.
  8. Grimson is a case in point.
  9. What average? DC's or the whole sale? Can't you read? I said the "value sweet spot was around $230k" - nothing about averages!
  10. That's where the focus is too much oncourse at the Karaka Millions. Even @TAB For Ever would agree with this - why not have a couple or three lead up races for offcourse punters? That way they are spending their hard earned locally rather than on the quality OZ racing that starts earlier than Karaka. Although they'll argue you have Riccarton and Trentham on the UNDER card.
  11. Obviously for the BGP. Your names not Ted is it?
  12. I see DC I pitching around the $230k mark. That could be the value sweet spot this sale.
  13. Yep some top liners there last night who would be competitive in OZ Group racing. I thought Legarto wasn't well ridden again. Shame Master Fay was lame after the race.
  14. Geez you are predictable. Same old pattern. You're becoming more boring and irrelevant. Meanwhile the new Government keeps pressing on. Got your protest marching boots polished?
  15. No it's a fact. On turnover of $9.5 you'd clear about $1.2m to $1.4m on an average yield. I doubt the yield would be higher although they BGP certainly help. The revenue generated for the day is unlikely to have covered Stakes let alone cost of sales. So it has to be subsidised from somewhere else. That's fine I guess but is it sustainable? Do we keep selling silver to pay the way?
  16. So you don't have an original thought? How long did it take you to Google that opinion?
  17. The issue was the slipping and shifty track. Did you read the extracts from the Stipes report? They were close to abandoning the meeting. Isn't that concerning? They abandoned Trentham for arguably less on the same day. As for any bias I have an open mind on it. I think the "nothing finished on from midfield" or "you need to be handy on the pace" is not because of the track. If you are slow away and the best horses in the field are half the field in front of you then you are not going win.
  18. Will do. Thanks. Just engrossed in watching the entertaining Sales live.
  19. Partly. The majority of Stakes for the day comes from TAB revenue. You have a lot to say so I mistaknlenly thought you'd be across that. But please don't divert to negative issues.
  20. Where the hell is the bitterness in my post? I just posted facts.
  21. Once again you obfuscate the debate by coming up with a counterfactual that's totally irrelevant. What's defending the high seas got to do with getting rid of a terrorist murdering bunch of of religious zealots? You are a Green supporter aren't you? Or are you Chloe in drag
