  1. Actually I think it was Dunganville not Notown. Which was about 25 km from Kumara and the same distance to Omoto.
  2. Every kid that lived on the Coast probably patted that old grey horse of his!
  3. Fred would be about a 110 now! Shit he was damn old when I was a kid on the coast and that was 50 yrs ago! I think he and his horse used to live in Notown which was about 15 miles from Kumara. He used to ride it the track!
  4. Thanks Karrots. I'll put up some selections however they'll be most likely crap as I tend to follow the Thoroughbred form more closely.
  5. I will not take that action and I have never taken that action. I gather from your posts and correspondence that you have outstanding issues with Molloy and MacKenzie. I suggest you take it up with them directly.
  6. You said you were leaving so what does it matter if you are moderated? I'm sorry but I will not be cuckolded on my own site. A site that I have put a considerable amount of my own time and money into. As for being sanctimonious that is your opinion which I disagree with. If you think free speech runs to allowing you and the likes of Heslop and Lane to post on my site criticising the platform that gives them that opportunity then you must think I have rocks in my head. As for Hesi aka Alan Heslop he is a liar and I'd be quite happy to post his correspondence publicly. I was threatened with legal action by Scooby using Bell Gully for the actions of Heslop which I had no control over. I'd be happy to post that information as well.
  7. Yes. Schofer was also allowed to ride but Sharrock used a rule allowing him to scratch. H Schofer was unable to make the carded weight for DARCI LA BELLA being in excess of 1kg over. Connections opted to and were given permission to scratch the filly under Rule 534(2)(a). H Schofer was fined the sum of $200 under the Minor Infringement Rule.
  8. Are you and Gai's Tom soul brothers?
  9. Don't harness still allow it?
  10. You have no idea what the reasons were for Sharrock electing to scratch. Perhaps given the paucity of jockey's around at the moment he wasn't too keen to put a lower quality jock up.

  16. Two false starts so far at Gore in Race 1!
  17. Hazel Schofer was to ride Darci La Bella 1kg over at 56kg. Late Scratched by Stewards apparently. Update - the trainer Alan Sharrock seems to have scratched her. That means that for Schofer to claim her two kg's she can only ride horses weighted at 58kg's!
  18. Tom Waterhouse slammed for weird Christmas posts alongside models and goats December 26, 2020 8:30am by JAMES MATTHEY Source: news.com.au Tom Waterhouse had an unusual Christmas.Source: Twitter The Waterhouse family must do things a little differently to the rest of us. Tom Waterhouse — the son of famous bookmaker Robbie Waterhouse and legendary horse trainer Gai Waterhouse — confused everyone on the internet with a seriously weird social media post wishing his followers a merry Christmas. There wasn’t a leg of ham to be seen as the former bookie turned racing insider instead posed with animals — including goats and what looks like an alpaca — as well as a handful of women in bikinis to simply say: “From my family to yours, wishing you all Merry Christmas.” Waterhouse is wearing a suit holding a goat out in the countryside, while the women behind him are all wearing flannelette shirts and keeping animals under control. Two of them are wearing wide-brimmed hats. In another post, Waterhouse is wearing a different suit and sitting at the head of a table, in front of platters of fruit and a couple of trophies. In this image, four women stand around him, one appearing to hold a napkin for him, while a rabbit lies on the table. The caption reads: “Good times in Happy Valley.” The replies to Waterhouse’s posts ranged from bemused, to confused, to downright savage. Many users tweeted “WTF” in response. One wrote: “Seen some bizarre s**t on Twitter this year but this takes the cake and chocolates too.” Another added: “What the hell is going on in this photo?” Bizarrely, Waterhouse retweeted hundreds of replies to his photos — be they positive or negative. He retweeted people calling him a marketing genius for generating such a stir, he retweeted those criticising him for such a tactless photo and he retweeted people making fun of him for a bungled attempt to somehow look cool. Whatever the point of it all, it seems all Waterhouse wants for Christmas is for Australia to be talking about him.
