    12 seconds to load again. I guess that's why I still haven't received a password reset email even though I was promised one two days ago. Bit of a bugger really as I wanted to punt on the next at M43 Aqueduct (is that close to the Viaduct?). There's $7 in the Win and Place pools. Really want a piece of that. It's good though that the bookies have been up early and set Fixed Odds for the USA meetings.

    They are programming using the JavaScript framework React.js. however my understanding is that the term "framework" is an overstatement with regard to React.

    My VDSL speed is 20mbs which is sufficient to run netflix and any other betting site except NZ TAB.

    Just updated the mobile android app on my phone. Took longer to load than the mobile website! The App uses 29Mb of space - what for I have no idea. Also you can't store on your SD card which I dislike.

    It just took 12 seconds to load the site. Then I clicked on the ad for betting on the Levin Classic and that to 12 seconds to load. Seems nothing is cached browser side which means you get the same result the next time you do the above.

    Exactly shyte design! I can't understand having bought (or licensed) a pre-made system from an organisation that offers essentially the same products that there are so many problems. Actually thinking about it a bit more I can. The $50m went on customising it for kiwi English. They'll be having contractural issues between the developer and the host provider as well. Finger pointing. I'd love to be on the forensic team for the review and remediation.

    The average punter isn't anywhere near super fast fibre. However if what they have is good enough to stream movies it should be good enough for the TAB. Poor design in my opinion.

    yes that is poor design. The web should load from the important stuff first and above the fold first (the bottom of the screen). I note the advertising loads first! I've noticed something else that is very poor design too but I'm keeping my powder dry on that one. Probably the biggest cause of the performance issues.

    Sort of helped but I DON'T WANT A PDF!!!! Why can't it be an index at least like before where you could click on each race beside each trainer? As I said an improvement would have been to provide the Horse name as a link.....

    I'm pretty sure they wont let you place bets via an API - the odd setting hamsters are not up to speed yet!

    I guess you could say that for two of them as they were bought in from his previous employment gigs. He was gifted Saville i.e. was there when Allen started. In saying that Saville doesn't seem to have much wagering experience and I understand his previous employment as a bookie was more the bag carrier than odd setter.

    Um....still haven't received my password reset email. So I tried again.....probably will really confuse things. One question though on the old site each race meeting had a set of indexes - e.g. trainers, jockeys. There you could view a list of the trainers and the races they had horses in. I was hoping for an improvement on that where they actually listed the horses name as well as the race it was in..... All that aside.....I CAN'T FIND ANY INDEXES AT ALL. Any clues BOAYer's?
