  1. Bit disappointed actually. Saginaw behaved liked he can ( and commonly does) but magical gear changes tomorrow bring hope. In reality, you would have to be mad to back it again from draw 1 tomorrow. Majestic Action went awful but I see in the stipes report it was showing signs of muscle tie up. Can that be fixed in time for its race tomorrow? Anyone know?
  2. That would make Rangatira correct.
  3. It is just for fun on here.
  4. The $1500 fine pales in comparison to the quote that will last a lot longer. If people had known Tall Poppy was domiciled at Kerr's then it would have been punted. Any new horse there gets a new lease of life.
  5. He has once.
  6. The off shoot story of the Ricky May ordeal was the role of social media in it. The family made a point of that early on and took a stance against the role of some tweeters. Social media causes a lot of problems so no surprise it turned into debate.
  7. Your favourite trainer.
  8. Is it Oldwhiteman?
  9. Thought I would mirror the Shark and pick the card in one at Blenheim. Maybe Ranga, HTP and Brodie can do the same and see who is the best selector out of all of them. That would be a good watch and debate. Race 1 - Kahress Race 2 - Prospect Park Race 3 - Majestic Action Race 4 - J R Bromac Race 5 - Saginaw Race 6 - Phoebe Onyx Race 7 - Lilac Star Race 8 - Dadndave Race 9 - Patronus Star Race 10 - Lets Hustle Best: Saginaw at 8.50ff Next: Majestic Action at 19ff (new driver continues) Roughie: Lets Hustle back to the grass but could be paying a bit on the tote
  10. Check In went inside one marker peg (barely) by the look of it. Compare it to Bright Glow who got biffed from 4th (about 2 lengths ahead of 5th) to being disqualified for going inside the markers for a distance but when you look at it, Bright Glow hit a few markers and went inside 2 (barely) https://harness.hrnz.co.nz/gws/ws/r/infohorsews/wsd06x?Arg=hrnzg-Ptype&Arg=RaceVideo&Arg=hrnzg-rSite&Arg=TRUE&Arg=hrnzg-RacehdrID&Arg=272548&Arg=hrnzg-rSite&Arg=TRUE So the new standard seems to be if you go inside a marker peg you are out. Good to know.
  11. When I have lost all my money throughout the day I will see a galaxy of superstars in the last race but I will end up taking a 'shot in the dark' at 41 and 7s. An Andrew Faulks special.
  12. As useful and relevant as a cassette tape recorder.
  13. I thought it was quite a good day. Enough action to make it worthwhile. It works for 2 day meetings but I don't think it should be a common thing. Drawing the outside would make it a long trip for possibly little chance.
  14. Your last winner? ?
  15. Race 3 had a couple of moves. Not too bad.
  16. First race predictable and no moves despite the fancy camera angles.
  17. Do you know who owns the land?
  18. But the question is whether the races are interesting or not. There is a lot going against them being so as there hotpots and small fields so let us see. How are they in trouble?
  19. Tougher back then with no FF placings backed to 4th...
  20. You back your last winner there?
  21. Cambridge is not that good.
  22. We shall see. We shall see.
  23. We shall see the merit of mass mile racing tomorrow, including a couple from a stand, tomorrow. The debate shall be settled.
  24. Only the worst decision ever if you expect consistency, you have to remember there is not any.
  25. Whether it is right or wrong, I think the margin played a big part in the decision. I agree with Spatch. Wasn't an easy target...
