I can't see how the back row will get into this race with all the Aussies off the front. The only Purdon runner with a chance is Cruz Bromac but at 2.60ff is short. Also short, from the draw, is The Fixer at 5.50 and drawn one on the second line. You would have to be very brave to take that. The 13ff and 2.80 is interesting money for Ashley Locaz. Is that a reasonable each way bet? Majestic Man 1.80ff place and Ashley Locaz 2.60ff might be a fun place multi for interest on Friday night between races at Addington...☺️

An aptly named trot on Sunday for the oldies. I think the 10 year old horses will dominate. I never realised Momentous is 10. He is racing really well.

I feel sorry for the likes of Regal Appointment, wins a race and then is put on the same mark as a 4 win horse and only gets a 10m head start on a 6 win horse in Rum in the Sun. Unless the conditions of the race played a part I think that is hard yakka.

El Dorado will win, even if it breaks at the start I think. The 2.40 was generous early on and I see it is backed into 2.00. Duke will run second, it has got much better since HTP threatened to sack it.

Yip, won't be beating the good upcoming types off the front such as Go On Andover, Majestic Action, Musculature Metro and Zigzagzoo. One of them is sure to beat Appearance due to the run they receive. Same goes for Steel Dust and Maranatha Atlas in my opinion. There is no DD's Superstuart lurking here!?

I watched it a few times. I am not even sure she was actually hitting the horse, more as you say slapping the reins and the whip at the same time. There was no wind up like some do. Did she even hit the horse? I would call that a vigorous drive but seems harmless at the same time. I am glad she is standing up for herself. Funny thing is, another driver gets a $300 fine for not driving his horse out and she may go for much more for attempting to get the best out of her horse in a reasonable manner.
