  1. As a matter of interest can anyone name conflicts of interest on our present board.? This failed group has been deliberately manipulated to suit the objectives of a certain few who, while not now, are serving on the current board still have a huge influence on present racing..What has this Board of Poor acheivers done for Licenced holders a part from put us all in a serious situation that is presently on going. Just go back a while and look at the blunders and embarrasment we have had to endure... Mario Barsi and Craig Rendle I trust you have had a good break over Xmas, many and their dogs have struggled as a result directly from your dispicable intentions.... Holden you got $100 000 k up front to start your term of failure turning up four days a week and that could have gone a long way towards our now dead dogs welfare.. Steele have you discussed "MIlkshaking" with the elite you are now amongst in your new position?

  5. Jason, are you of the opinion that within the Greyhound structure and the chain of command of the R.I.U. there is no possible chance of Corrupt practises.? Jenny Craig or the R.I.U. would welcome you with open arms, give them a call perhaps...:)
  6. Surely it has got to the stage where something has to be done to improve the R.I.U. and some attrocious decisions being made, and more importantly the decisions NOT being attended to. The bitch in question with this bizzare performance has just won the Galaxy, the Dash for cash and won a race at Waikato in great style amongst others.. Right from the jump in this race something was wrong with this little girl and to run a few metres and crash into the rail totally free of intererence deserves more attention than just a vet check. Urine, blood, and a saliva test and a hair sample should have been ordered. Kennel security cameras should have already been searched. The R.I.U. special detective should be checking all betting patterns both here and Overseas accounts.. What input has the General Manager and the Head Stipe for Greyhounds had in this instance? This is not the only case of running like a drunk being noticed lately, Integrity is the key, Let's have some please...

  8. There is too much crap going on with LATE scratchings..!!! About time the penalty for this was extended and more attention was paid to the raughts being blatently played out by unscrupulous trainers.. 7.30am morning of the races is the deadline for scratchings and any trainer that hasn't been up well prior to this time attending to the team needs to get another job. Too many injuries being picked up at the vet table, too many bitches in season most, not being picked up , bee stings you name it...The Associations Board needs to re address this issue and allow our very competant R.I.U. to deal out penalties that will curb the increasing numbers of dogs being late scratched. With trainers on the Board privy to first hand information maybe they can contribute to this as it is very likely they will no first hand what is happening....Merry Xmas and may the next cheat that scratches for the wrong reason bare footed stand in a pile of dog shit....
  9. The trial is over for now from the 410m boxes and 5 races out of 12 this Sunday have reverted to the 375m. The only real concern of the trial outcome seems to be that boxes 7 and 8 were disadvantaged. There is no question or doubt the racing from the 410m was, as inticipated, cleaner and more doggy friendly on the first bend. What is more important, The safety of your hounds or a random box draw?
  10. Right from the top down Hunter.. This is a bloody joke and unless the cycle of incompetent abuse is curtailed it will fester...We are talking about an industry that starts with our children and entails so much input from decent people only to be ruined by the current crew of deceipt that is lacking in what it takes... . This is a position of the Highest Integrity and it takes special people to run it honestly. I believe there are posters on here that would fit the position that is required even if only to show that it can be done with INTEGRITY.
  11. Now we could be getting somewhere at last. Can someone tell me who GODber is directly answerable to please...
  12. Well keep watching Sunrise. The R.I.U. What about Godber ? that blithering wanker from Addington Showgrounds..He has control over them all !! If you look at the structure of the R.I.U. that has grown in Enormous numbers... notice.!. The Investigators under Godber are so much more quailified than him it ain't funny.. Godber contols it all .. I reckon this guy just has to go.... and his sqirmy mate Nigel McIntyre what a wimp....
  13. Brodie, I am not denigrating just stating facts.. Yes it can be dangerous, but I think we are more a little down the track than that.? . I don't know about you, but it my case I say FUCK them.. I love a little danger Things have to improve, they just have to...
  14. Should this topic be pinned ? It needs to be dealt with for the INTEGRITY of our 3 codes.!!! The R.I.U. is a Huge Joke and the longer we allow these cancerous leeches to continue to under perform the more they will employ their mates and more lousy decisions will become the norm.. Cameron George is an arsehole who put the platform of this Vital Unit on a disgraceful level right from word go. What gets me more than anything is the saga of his behaviour that was covered up by most of YOU now complaining.. Ross Neal confirmed the pattern of this scum by his behaviour that was absolutely disgraceful, disgusting , and unbelievable for a man in his position of Trust. I could go on and name the men that helped him cover up this SHAMEFUL deed and they are still employed. We have wankers like Gavin Whiterod that is long , long overdue to bugger off, ( he made the decision not to deal to the example mentioned by Yankiwi in a previous post). and has many dubious dealings over the years and most of them on record. Scotty Wallis the dirty little man that stole a licensed persons partner and is now engaged to her while he still holds a position of power. We have McLaughin who is the latest of these clowns that makes decisions that are unbelievable and he is not worthy of holding such a position. Brian (Brocoli) Bateup the gardener and weather reporter supreme ( a really nice guy) that admits he is only there to collect a pay packet and dare front him he runs to Whiterod for help. The ex Jockettes that fill the positions, The fisherman, the one that is into Blow up Dolls.. Maybe we are the Jokes Brodie, good on you for sticking up for Integrity though the Industry needs it right now. :)
  15. No It's permanent.. the weekly job that is lol... Start from the bottom and read up True!! got these 3 messages within about 30 odd minutes.. last month... HI Sorry for the confession, Not my day there will be no trials on the Tuesday 20 November. Trials will be on Thursday 22 November. 17. This seems to be working very well and the interference on the bend has been reduced. Would be good to have some in put from Mr. Freeman backed up by the R.I.U. assessment of this and of course trainers and Punters thoughts...
  18. Such a shame, Watching the trots now has changed for me. I genuinely feel for the honest people within the Industry. Everything working out for the better will hopefully see the nasty influence dealt with and got rid of for good. The Greyhound Code has been suffering from an injustice for coming on two years now and it is time we had a good clean up right across the codes and all that Governs us....
  19. The R.I.U needs to be completely restructured. From Its very beginnings it was doomed with the seriously lack of Integrity.. Mike Godber with all of his power in my opinion is just so lacking the credentials to head this unit. IT AINT FUNNY !!. The man is a Dickwit and needs to head back to Addington and run a sausage sizzle tent..
  20. The sooner the better.. Get rid of the arseholes.....Clean the sport up...Might even crank the ol Zephyr up and take her for a ride down memory lane.. Still got the empty bottles in the boot and the back seat seat is very worn,Those were the days lol :)
  21. Your reports are always about what you are going to achieve Mario. Enjoy your Holiday and the skeleton staff also over the holidays. Spare a thought for the Greyhound Fraternity that most, don't ever get a holiday or a break.. Your full of shit mate and as yet have not proved otherwise... CE Update - December 2018 Hi Everyone It’s that time of year where I get to say Merry Christmas everyone, and well done for another year. This year I’m proud of how well you: the industry, the Clubs and LP’s have come together to grapple with the Hansen Report, the Messara Report, and the difficult challenges you’ve faced in just keeping the sport and the business of greyhound racing going. I believe that our Awards and Conference events this year were a real success, setting the groundwork for future learning experiences and best practice, and creating shared expectations around what we can do together. We’ve already made great strides in track management and maintenance as a result of the Conference and you should expect to see more track safety early next year. I know that GRNZ has reached out and been in more clubs, more often, but I also realise that we need to do more. We’ve put together an engagement model for next year so that more LPs and more Clubs can be involved earlier in any Code decision making - you’ll see more of our thinking and have more opportunities to be involved in it. I can see that the welfare reforms this year were a lot to manage, and that we sometimes missed the voices of participants on issues - please remember that we had to move quickly to ensure that we kept our social licence but that lessons have been learned and we will work closely with the industry to ensure new standards are practical and understood. Beyond all this, I can say that next year will be even bigger - there’s the implementation of the Messara Report, a new Code funding agreement, a new international rights agreement and potentially new partners to negotiate with We are going to have a big year and we’re going to have to get through it together. I’m looking forward to seeing you, your clubs and our industry succeed. Finally, it’s important to note that the office will run a skeleton crew from midday 21 December through to 7 January. You’ll still be able to get a hold of us and we’ll still be on the case, but please understand that we will not have everyone on board for all of that time. As always, have a great Christmas and safe start to the new year. Mauro Barsi CE, GRNZ

  22. Gazzac " "CRAIG RENDLE"" is the CULPRIT... Come on guys!!!
  23. Talk to Pete Rangatira He is right up with play, The whole saga is just so sad...Cole is still under the S.P.C.A. Investigations for several possible charges ( And charges that should have been dealt with Immediately under rules that most have to... and do... adhere to) . What upset things was the talk of "Live killing" going on at Brendons.. Evidential photos were given and Two years later we are still waiting for due justice to be done...
  24. I can think of 350 reasons why the little arsehole won't be back in a hurry... SHAME..
  25. And also Fritter, The Head Stipe of the Greyhound code Gavin Whiterod was subjected to an internal Inquirey about his "Fetish" for young girls knickers.. It's on record !! but maybe buried, like Cameron Georges dispicable behaviour with the girls... SHAME....
