  1. Is that one horse you got in work going to the races without any trial or jumpouts, just galloping in company let me know its name so I can follow it.
  2. If they are your horse or you own them go for it, up to you.
  3. Yeah you mean those ones that run around in 3 horse fields is that the ones you mean? You thought there were no flat races in the UK in winter FFS youre a know it all who argues for the sake of it. Jumpouts will assist in getting them to the races sooner than doing your long slow prep, particularly horses that haven't raced(safety of jocks as well a horse that goes from galloping in company with another to a 14 horse field), they also have to go through the gates and get a barrier cert as well, not to mention without jumpouts plenty go to the races and don't know what they are doing. Not the ones you prepare though obviously .
  4. Was that on a Heavy93 he won the Arc? You and Mardigras train yours the way you want and leave it to others how they preapare their own.
  5. LMAO FFS you're full of it. You got a few youre getting ready for the races off your Japanese/Euro preps? Let me know where they are starting so I can back them.
  6. Does make you wonder if the TAB would have got a sort out if not for the Chinese virus?
  7. Of course they can, but not the ones that have been in work for 4-6 weeks, thats what we are told we are potentially looking at.
  8. 6 race cards with all 2000m + races expecting horses to be ready off 1 jumpout ;0
  9. Exactly, its a good initiative but utterly pointless if only for one month.
  10. There is that Kodia channel
  11. Looking at the form the only thing I could see was the trainer goes ok at Geraldton, but your right strange fav.
  12. You said NH, so perhaps I missed that.
  13. Yes correct but they are flat races with no jumps. So they still hold some flat races in the winter thats my point.
  14. They are flat races for NH horses.
  15. Might be a dangerous move, has there been any examples of moving races or race dates that have improved the event particularly from a participation and punting point of view? I can't think of any of top of my head.
  16. They aren't as prevalent as they are in an NZ winter but they do still have some for NH horses like they do Highweights here. See Market Rasen, Fairyhouse and a few others as examples.
  17. Are you trying to tell me there are no flat races in Uk & Ireland in the winter months? Those venues were just examples of where racing was taking place over the winter whether that be jumps racing or flat.
  18. Well there is your answer . Both options work. Some are happy to be one of 500 owners in MB and JE and others like to share it with a smaller group where they get to have a bit of a say.
  19. Pretty sure Haydock park.Lingfield race on the turf in the winter, over jumps which I enjoy.
  20. You can do that yourself , just don't bet or look at any racing news etc give yourself 3 months off and you've shutting racing down in the winter months for yourself...problem solved.
  21. You're such a knowitall Curious. https://www.britishhorseracing.com/racing/fixtures/full-year/
  22. Option 1 for me, I wouldn't want to go in a horse that was owned by SLB 2.0 Syndicate No.5 (just an example) , I presume the first option you'd at least get your name in the book?
  23. Same punters that think you can close down for the entire winter then just start up again.
  24. Don't panic Bernard is having another one of these FACEBOOK LIVE | We are pleased to inform you that we will be hosting another Facebook LIVE session! 10am Thursday NZTR have you covered.
  25. Absolutely it would, will it happen with the current regime, probably not.
