Yeah she is prob my Top Driver I rate her. Be interesting in the Canty Classic if they hand to her or not tonight. She is on unruly, so would have to work mid-race. Will they have the nerve to park her or will they (whoever is leading) just hand up when she comes looking is the key question tonight.

The NZ Cup is less than 6 weeks away. Tonight we have a trotting lead up race as well as a pace lead up race. Not long ago we had the Hannon Memorial as a lead in race. Sundon Sun starts next up, against a nice field, with Majestic Man fresh back. Later in nite last years Cup winner Self Assured starts back as is the fav, but his co-trainer has said he is not at peak fitness. Who will win tonight. Those that are interested in posting about races & these lead up races, here is a thread.

Looks like Dr Susan was exported back to NZ Dec 2020. No trainer up in NZ & doesn’t say yet she has been served. Owner is Mrs Dalgety. On the latest Boxseat interview Jones was interviewed & said Pluto Lady is a horse in that needs things to go her way. And said that Stylish M had a foot abscess. Agree with Self A best horse in field. However not at peak fitness. So think gives others a chance to win if a horse like Pembroke P gets a good run, then has a chance. A few are good stand starters too e.g. Classie B, Pembrook P & Robyns Playboy. Will it be foot down at the start to see who can get to the front?

Lets see On this thread out of 13 posts which most are reasonable in length, Brods has only written 2 short sentences regarding Cup week or NZ Cup within those 13 posts. (Iv included those posts that have been removed to THE VENT). As for yourself, 15 posts including those that were also moved to the VENT. And only 1 sentence that talks about racing this one. “karrots to be honest the South Island should of never been in lock down. mask wearing at the racers is just crap”. So yeah you are right in a sense that you have hijacked it more than him, but only just. Everytime I log on to check this trots section. Everytime it reads just that. TROTS This thread is on the BIGGEST harness race of the YEAR in NZ & the BIG Trot race too. Yet when I ask a question or for peeps thoughts, input about lead up races including tonights or horses total silence bar Gamms & Honest John. I find it weird, negative & a bit draining. BUT Big Ups to Gamms & Honest John.

Only approx 5 weeks til the BIG DANCE. Wonder if Pembroke Playboy will be driven more aggressively after his last race held up ... ? Who wins the Canty Classic tonight? Gamms you like these races to bet on, who you think? Or anyone? Self Assured fav even tho an article out today HRNZ saying he's bigger/rounder than normal only 85-90% fit at best & he will be driving him conservatively not looking to mid-race move looking for lead. Thought this sentence was funny. And shows an example of Guerin speaking his opinion more. "Gifted the front". "But if and when South Coast Arden moves he is gifted the front, again that seems unlikely, then the dynamic of the race changes enormously". Surely no driver would hand the lead up to South Coast Arden ...

Think its great they are giving horse his chance. The owner is part owner of Sweet Lou anyway, who is still seeking a NZ star, as star 2 y-o Sweet on Me retired so early. Hope he finishes top 3 to qualify for final. So then he gets a chance at final & a chance at a better draw. Sounds like he will be put in race & funny the driver had not heard of the horse as per the radio interview.
