  1. You sure about that koppa? Either a quick bullet or a set of concrete sneekers and a fast trip to Davey Jones locker over there I would have thought?
  2. Yes the Committee more than likely bent over backwards for The Vella Fellas race.... Banning any prize money from that would have earnt the the flash suited City Boys...Craig Baker, Pauly Willy Wilcox and hangers on... ...a trip to the out casts tent at Kraka...instead of free stuff...in the Vella Fellas flash az gazebo ...and no suit wants that embarrassment... But at least they've admitted their idea of what constitutes fair....deserves to be on the next Spacex flight..off the planet
  3. I'm currently going through a 'scared as shit' learning to sit in a seat without having a noivous breakdown course mc... so in short...maybe not!
  4. So Russ McAra blamed his assistant for getting injured... ...when he stuffed up the designated starting points for 'rail true'! How the f does someone do that? All starters are required to liaise with Track Managers to make sure they know where the starting points are... It makes it even worse when the position is RAIL TRUE then... This follows on from the WC debacle where the barrier positions were reversed.... Perhaps these 'NZ SOUTH' boys are sooooo laid back and 'know it all' that they don't need to do basic 101 Starting Protocols?? Whats more...it appears he didn't even get a f in fine...just "spoken to advisedly" ffs...does no one take responsibility any more? Even leaving a piece of gear off a trainer gets pinged Fitty...a Starter corrupting the result what paddy f in shot at
  5. What a dead set shockingly run race.... The winner had Blinkers back on...went sideways twice up the straight the first time...side swiped and caused mayhem to @ 6 neddys... Gryllsy had no control and no fault Then Waddell decided it was HIS Derby again...and flattened horses not once but TWICE.... Out until 16 APRIL!! They all decided to take off at the same time 600 out...flushing 7/8 wide...into ground that was overwatered...so they had no chance... ...it just looked desperate and unbecoming of a Major race... Probably cut it back to 16...make them qualify in serious races...ignore the ridiculous prize money accumulated rubbish...especially Arstralian exchange rates...wtf is that about?? ..and surely Restricted Race stake money...where a 14th placing earnt one lucky f'er a start...ffs
  6. As pwedicted...in the one one..got slightly less boring when Happy got happy... ...then it went back to Hoyle... Levelled out...head tilted to the nearside..as per norm... Bowman said "the pace was so fast I knew he'd come back to me...very easy in the end" zzzzzzz How much more exciting would it have been if a f in legion of Ozzy oi oi supporters went to Meydan for a change To challenge the Worrrrld...almost?? Now that would have been EXCITING def. not zzzzzz
  7. Wow wowzer Wesley!! This thread has taken off on a tangent all of its own! Lurve it! Ive been in an ashram all weekend...sending the P to paradise and peeyond... Please tell moi... Did PI finish close to last as you predicted? Was there any gear changes that made a difference in the race...as per VALUE..in the Derrrby....such as BLINKERS on? Cheers
  8. 9k Earnt by running 14th beats a 0.4L 3rd in a Group 2? yea na Hawkes Bay had similar problems with their qualifying protocols... they changed to preferring certain Black Type form
  9. https://mobile.twitter.com/RAMONandSHARON/status/1100908820065333248
  10. And you'll note the fawning Racing Media..apart from Lichter...who fair dinkum took Craig Baker apart...limb by limb ...haven't mentioned a thing about the ANOMALY! Flash boy Guerin's too f in scared to for a start In case glamour boy Pauly I'm too flash to take my sunnies off on TV Wilcox... kicks Guerin out of the Presidentes room...and bans him from doing patsy post race interviews Talk about gutless
  11. Fair dinkum..talk about larff Stipe Coles had another wild stab last week at Matamata... "D 6 now Rodders, with the wind we've got going on today, especially after the prunes I had on me cornies, I'd relly relly expect it to get in to a D 5...real soon" Nek minute...RETROSPECTIVELY...they love using that word..it means before the first It was a S 7....ALL F IN DAY Take that retrospectively and shove it boys...just give up Provide the PUNTERS..who keep you in a job..the complete Pen. Readings that you've taken @ 30 points on the course... ...and let them work it out Instead of taking a wild f in stab Colsey ffs
  12. Wtf knows anymore! The time line though Harry thrusts his mitt into his off pocket...after Tanya requested a mint?? She takes the minties??...sticks one in...or a Wrigley maybe??...into said moosh... ...waits 10 seconds to make sure she's munching on the right flavour...then hands the Wrigleys back tell moi Im wrong You emailed the Feds yet P??
  13. Sacre blew...moi?? Just glad some CLASS gets to Get On... Pretty boy Matt has some...and talent....but essentially he's a Twots boy... ...just like Rosanowski is a Hound man..who gets to present Way In!! wtf is that about...when Emily is waiting to get back on? Yes she may be a tad biased when it comes to telling the Stipes to keep their hands off her man... ..but they already do that...just watch the Avondale Guineas ...and Opee getting away with blue f in murder on a Careless charge
  14. What about APACHE CAT?? A grouse horse who lipped Darci Brahma in the 2006 Guineas
  15. And how cute is wee Max...the Dam's had a HUGE influence once again
  16. Make that PI...Platinum Invador.... btw...love the NZ school system having an influence in the spelling Stakes mistakes ...maybe on purpose?
  17. How blossoming does she look? But it's not about that...it's about CLASS and Intellect in this bizzo...and she's got it Welcome back Emma Emma Emily...you should really be high up on the silver screen... How cute the production team sucking up to her though... https://mobile.twitter.com/TAB_Racing/status/1100938810265722880
  18. "Nothing making much ground from the back" As moi said...BO enables a neddy to fire up and race handy...which is what the Blinker wearers did... My BP's not big on set Weight racing...my niche is generally Handicap punting... ...but one of moi's nuances is investing on very fit neddys...those who can take Racing and thrive on it... As you may recall CASTLETOWN won the Derby after winning 4 days previously..the fittest on the day So MORE WONDER and PV are the fittest...but I certainly won't be going mad hatter on the race...best
  19. It's basic 101 Sherlock stuff If Tanya said TT...you hit her with "no TT Tanya...what else you got punk" Its best, as moi suggests, to inundate the RIU with all of your concerns though... ...and at least one emailer could possibly receive a reply to allay everyone's fears Im open minded as usual... oh and don't forget to include "wtf did she put in her gob"
  20. For sure...and you can't say "but they're padded" It's based purely on Prima facie...and on the face of it they're right Whats the bet when 2/3 neddys are fighting out the finish in the Derby tomorrow... The guidelines will be thrown out the window and WIN AT ALL COSTS comes into it Just like The Telegraph's first two...who were both illegally whipping their neddys And they're not allowed to protest what a joke
  21. It's da key to LIFE as we Punters know it Wesley... Just get on... CC was worried about the on pace bias BO Enable a neddy to fire up..and race handier... Its basic punting 101... Im here to help...
  22. And then you hit back with... "she didn't have a TT on that day....besides what did you hand back to Harry" Maybe he was paying his bills and she was his banker?
  23. Oustanding effort Bazz... You would have got the 3 Black Type performers...back to inferior mid weak... ...2 who had Blinkers fitted first time...the first Absolutely pantsed them and improved many lengths with them on... ...the last winner 2nd time in BO...who was caught wide without cover first time on... As for Anachy...the Stipes should have questioned the 32L turnaround from last start...don't you think?
  24. Yep we all get you inferred something dodgy by linking the vid to the "unusual" betting... ...but you couldn't Just send your figures to Godber...and the link to the video... ...and see what eventuates.... He'll be judged in the court of public opinion if he ignores you and the many others on here who have emailed the Feds with their concerns... Surely Tanya has told Freda what she put in her mouth?? Come in Freda...
  25. Toddy's on the job...early bird gets the Winx LATEST NEWS THE CHAMPIONSHIPS LATEST NEWS SOCIAL CONTENDERS MEDIA RACE REPLAYS COMPETITIONS First International To Arrive On Saturday By Brad Gray Quarantine will start early this year for the Sydney autumn carnival, with British five-year-old Eminent set to arrive on Saturday. Trained by decorated former Olympian Sir Mark Todd, Eminent has been set for the G1 Ranvet Stakes (2000m) before a clash with star mare Winx awaits him in the $4m G1 Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m). The son of Frankel will have a companion at Canterbury Park Quarantine, Kim Waugh’s retired racehorse His Majesty. Eminent (Pic: Racing Post) “We have been very proactive in trying to get horses participating at the start of the carnival,” said ATC’S James Ross, General Manger of Racing, Wagering and International. “Eminent had sensational form as an early three-year-old and if he can recapture that he will be very competitive. If you go back to his early runs he has genuine Group One form around horses like Decorated Knight and Poet’s Word. His connections are specifically targeting the Ranvet with him, that’s a key part of their plan.” Eminent ran fourth in the 2017 G1 Epsom Derby behind Wings Of Eagles and The Cliffsofmoher before three months later running third in the G1 Irish Champion Stakes (2012m) at Leopardstown. “We have been speaking to a lot of connections about bringing horses to enhance their stallion appeal if they target multiple Group One races. There are also a number of horses that in the future will potentially end up in Australia and it is pleasing to see trainers using the Sydney Autumn as a pathway. Connections obviously can consider that option pending how they run.” The Championships saw strong international entries this year, with 21 from Japan and 10 from Great Britain and Ireland. “It is exciting to see internationally trained horses keen to take on Winx in the flagship race, the Queen Elizabeth Stakes,” continued Ross. “Our goal has been to continually build the profile of the international races throughout the entire Sydney Carnival and it is encouraging to see the investment in races like the Sydney Cup rewarded with increased entries again this year, 128 overall including eight Japanese entries in particular.” On the Sydney Cup, Godolphin’s Charlie Appleby is eyeing off the race again, having won the $2 million staying feature with Polarisation in 2017. Appleby has nominated Dubhe, a four length last start winner over two miles at Meydan, and Ispolini, also a last start winner in Dubai, for the Sydney Cup. Mythical Magic has been nominated for the G1 $3m The Star Doncaster Mile (1600m) while D’Bai is being considered by the stable for the G1 All Aged Stakes (1400m).
