So in the last month the so called 'track check'...you know....when the USELESS RIU...soon to be disbanded thank da gods... ...peruse the Total perimeter and all round environs of said track.... ...AKA the Race Track...yea that...to make SURE the Race Track is SAFE to race on...ok? Well last month at the Tauranga races the 'Stipes' had a wee slip up and forgot to check...the result being a Dog Walker and their 2 dogs were walking close to the actual race track.... ...thankfully the 2 half breds were taking a dump at the time...off piste...tragedy averted... So you'd think after all that there'd be a 'general alert' alerted for... CHECK THE F IN TRACK BEFORE THE STARTER LETS THEM GO...ok? And onto ELLERSLIE a couple of weeks later...you know where Golfers didn't fear to tread in front of Jumpers...and Starters who forget to load the ENTIRE field away... ...and 'Track Staff' who didn't know to GET THE F OFF the Track when the Champagne Stakes are underway... So the Starter lets them go and 2 'track repairers' are busy repairing....over behind the cabbage trees and general unsighted 800M mark with a Hugh amount of overgrown vegetation...probably where Waddell used to grow his stash So the question was... Did said 'Stipes' arrive up in George's box...where these 'Stipes' check the track is clear...before the start, or were these 'track repairers' unsighted behind the overgrown overgrowth hiding the locals stash? Or both? Judge for yourself from the still vid pick doing the rounds..note the 'repairer's' leg in the air has he/she dives under the rail to avoid death...and a mouthful of 'stash'
