  1. LOL that comment had nothing to do with this thread. It was a response to a question you asked in that other thread. Shiver me timbers you are very confusing at times.
  2. Perhaps he didn't see me as his type. Although I am thinking he cast his net pretty wide.
  3. I suggest GORKY PARK. Both a good movie and a horse for R J Dunn
  4. I can't read people's minds so wouldn't know without an actual heads up, horses mouth kinda thing.
  5. 5 of the very best captured in that photo. Maybe no other photo out there to match it.
  6. No blokes have bought this to my attention so far.
  7. There are so many hence the request for more time. Plus you could have showed kindness and numbered them. It's a lovely rainy level 2 day here and I must get out and enjoy it while it lasts.
  8. That guy that used to come on here and privately message the Sheila's (sometimes inappropriately) He was adamant Nat was going for a big skate due to a case he had against her. I was and still are convinced he was envious of the ALL Stars success and the Ranfurly Draught was taking over.
  9. Can this thread please be continued until Auckland is back in Level 1.
  10. Have I missed something here ? Have Mark and/or Natalie been disqualified recently ?
  11. Yup, Brodster even mentioned his crush.
  12. Zachary would be next best if Vincent is unavailable. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DUUYfTGB7yXo&ved=2ahUKEwjUhu6uhv3yAhV1yzgGHb4FBIsQo7QBegQIBhAB&usg=AOvVaw20PapEjLRWfD9ItSZt4fOc
  13. It's an absolutely genius idea if you must have gimmicks to attract new customers. I felt forced to come up with something to appease the OP. If Karrots manages to entices Vincent and his Hot to Trot roadshow to Alex Park I am certain I will boycott the meeting.
  14. Iraklis, Kyms Girl, Inky Lord, Bonnie's Chance and Bee Bee Cee all won the Hannon on the way to winning that year's NZ Trotting Cup.
  15. I am not really into gimmicks but if you are forcing me to come up with one I would say a vegetable growing competition for the largest carrot. With a free return trip for one to Ohakune as the winning prize.
  16. Well to be perfectly honest we were only thinking of ourselves at the time.
  17. We swapped Russell Rabbitoh for her.
  18. Dam hard to keep a good man down. Welcome back Elmer !!!!!!
  19. We must get the children addicted to gambling as early as possible. Need to have a proper kids tote with confectionery as the currency. Use the actual tote prices to pay out. No restrictions either. Bet what they have. 2 Crunchies and 11 Anniseed Balls each way.
  20. 4 NZ starts for 2 wins. All at Karrots Park. Lovely Kiwi chick from out Rolleston way.
  21. Ah okies, I had momentarily borrowed the Brodsters self interest cap and was thinking only of what would get me back. But they are fabulous ideas. I probably can't help you much but I can tell you my initial experiences as a suburban boy from a non racing family with a TAB amongst the local shops. My first racecourse/betting experiences were summer holiday trips from Tahunanui Beach Camp to the Richmond Equalisator Trots first thing in the new year. I remember once going to an equalization dog meeting somewhere in Marshlands. There was a thrill in watching the horse I had drawn race. It was a good family day out with other known families. Plenty of grass to run around on and candy floss for fuel. To be continued..........
