I probably can't help you much but I can tell you my initial experiences as a suburban boy from a non racing family with a TAB amongst the local shops. My first racecourse/betting experiences were summer holiday trips from Tahunanui Beach Camp to the Richmond Equalisator Trots first thing in the new year. I remember once going to an equalization dog meeting somewhere in Marshlands. There was a thrill in watching the horse I had drawn race. It was a good family day out with other known families. Plenty of grass to run around on and candy floss for fuel. To be continued..........

Great if he got back to his peak. 8.5 M Jones (9.5) Most races he would be the best driver not out there.
