  1. When Lance O told Jim Campin to put him on Phillpa Rush in the Oaks as he was the best, and he led all the way in 2400m event, that says enough. Linda with 65 wins, answered the question
  2. Go outside and look at the weather in Dunedin and give me a report. Thanks in advance
  3. Yes but the system now is wrong, maybe a calendar model would be ok, but I believe a monetary policy would be more justifiable, and take away all this National Day rubbish, as i have state,d you can say i was going to Gore and you were based in Ruakaka. Is it worth $500 return airfare for 3 or 4 rides?
  4. Dane/Murray, go and get some medical help, as it has been clear to me and others you need some medical/mental assistance, and i am happy to pay for any help you receive and clearly need urgently.
  5. Murray, go back to AI , THEN GIVE ME THE REPORT, what you are asking.Apples with Apples maybe
  6. No, what I propose is that make the system balanced, and instead of this bullshit of 5 National Days and if found guilty of any charge, forget this blurred system. If a rider is found guilty, if they had 5 rides, take all their fees off them and do the same if they had a full book or 1 ride ,then all this bullshit about were 5 National Days and if they were going to the said meeting, will not come into play,
  7. Mustang, please confirm who Kendra is apprenticed to, Please dont tell me L Robinson and due respect to Jason, was he a bigger talent than D Walsh?
  8. Ok look at the other riders who got 5 NATIONAL DAYS, WHO GOT 5 DAYS and tell me WHEN they were going to the places that covered there 5 NATIONAL Days suspenion and tell me when Kauri went last down to Gore when there was no meeting up North and tell me when he last rode at Ashburton,if ever, and if he was, were the plane tickets booked and who was he riding for? Chief, please, it is just bullshit and if you believe this rubbish. In my view/opinion, he should have been charged under Dangerous/Reckless Riding and take a real penalty that fitted the charge
  9. You wonder why people don't like having a punt down South. The course was presented in great order. The weather played its part, the crowd turned up, so why was the Riding of such a low standard? A total of 6 riders were given suspensions: 5 National Days and 1 rider got 6 National Days. One charge I believe should have been upgraded to Dangerous Riding and that was Kauri, I had an investment in Blue Goddess and was given a nice run until Kauri decided that he had been 3 wide long enough and pulled the left handlebar down and wiped Blue Goddess out ,she dipped with the jockey almost being dislodged, this was shit that i did years ago and like i was handed with the applicable rule. Now this horse was wiped out of the race, so the owner has float and training fees to get the horse to the races. The punters who made it a favourite had thrown their money down the drain.Punters can only take so much rubbish. Now this 5 National Day suspension is rubbish.Kauri gets 5 National Days included Gore,Ashburton and Taupo,i don't believe he would be going to 2, maybe 3 meetings, so should he not advise what Trainers he was going to ride for and get supporting evidence that this fact and if incorrect charge the Trainer and Jockey, just seems a rort to me and look at the SI based jockeys and they fall into this bullshit as well.It is window dressing at best, attempting to show strength, but in fact it is WEAKNESS,being shown by both the Stewards and the RIU and if that what the rule says, change the rule to show real strength and Integrity. Now on a positive note, a rider who I believe is underrated, Corey Campbell, was on Trackside Radio and went through his rides and he labeled Our Approval as his best, even though after the Blue Goddess debacle, i was not going back to Southland to punt when you have Aussie underway, but as he is a rider i rate i backed it along with 3 punting mates got plenty, and he rode it like a professonial and gave it the PERFECT run.
  10. Why would the RIU not provide funds for this? They are all about integrity, and after having horses stabled there. i know how easy it would be to give some substance to a horse/s.They even make it easier by having the trainer's name on the allocated boxes.
  11. I just read that Gary has passed away. He had a Heart Attack whilst swimming. He raced many good horses and was the father of Guy. RIP
  12. Thank goodness for the pension deposit tonight TAB. I personally had a shocker also, and I will have to add a month's worth of the pension to balance the account. But wait, the Melbourne Cup meeting is on tomorrow, and the wife will not notice a small amount taken out of her account, especially when I log it as a short-term loan to be repaid around 8 pm
  13. Here are a few reasons, Free Admission, Free Lunch, Free drinks ,The best seats in the house and the best one was some years ago, The President, ie D Gould, thought he would inspect the Track riding his 800kg Clydedale at full gallop, this was after Trainers were told the course proper was closed for final gallops. Where would you like your nomination form sent to Agent?
  14. A track record held by Miss Andrew, are you sure, would that not be Miss Anderiti?spelling I checked Racnet but couldn't find the sectional times. I did look at the replay ,but was only from the 150m mark and seen more than 1 horse that came from behind DR.
  15. The Blackbooker in the race was Angel Capital. D Lane is a world-class jockey, but this will go down as a ride to forget, he gave it no show, and to me, he had a brain fade. In fact, I saw three Blackbookers yesterday, so I got to thinking: what about if we have a competition, where you have a start date and you have one month to see how your unlucky runners perform during that period? You can have an imaginary $10 to win on 3 separate runners that you select, and your horse can start as many times as the trainer decides in that month. To make it interesting, i will put up $100 prize to the punter who has the most imaginary amount of dollars at the end of the month. Can i get someone good at Excel to run the comp, as i will Fxxk it up?
  16. Worth the time and effort when she wins a G3 today, and a very humble Trainer who said it was the most satisfying win in his career.
  17. Yes, i say thank you to Colin for his time and costs for the donation. I do not believe any committee members from the Nth Canterbury or the CJC Racing clubs would have been as forthcoming with their time or money. So well done, Colin
  18. Another brilliant, bright sunny day on the coast. The council has done well in acquiring the course for $1, and I assume this is because it was sold to a Developer, with the sections being 170k. Have some good memories from riding there.
  19. I thought Shoma went as well as the winner when running second at Te Rapa, and I will be all over it next time, as they have big raps on the winner.
  20. Do not worry about the pram. But the good-looking Lady, now we are talking the same language, so long as it is not one of your throw-away Ladies😋. I have never been a fan of 2nd hand goods.
  21. Hindsight is a great thing, but surely he could have seen the 2 Waller horses inside of him and thought things had not gone as expected, so Plan B would be to get on to the back of the best horse in the race and ride for luck, That is what I would have expected from a jockey of some abilty to do.
  22. Give a clue to us battlers, what disguise got you past the security?
  23. I think most people who have some level of race reading would agree it was a 2 out of 10 ride, but the jockey has said he made a mistake. So i will let it go
  24. Not sure about that, Chief. Riders that started in the South and have done well include but are not limited to, Skelton's rode plenty of Group winners E J Didham, D Browne, Buffering, and lately D Stackhouse and J Kennedy and L Bates are doing very well over the ditch
  25. At least you do have a sense of humor, Chief. I am not sure what win it was, but it would have been around his 30th win. Also, I got asked to ride Little Brown Jug, but I had to ride a stablemate as well. Yes, the stablemate won and LBG got beaten. Funnily enough, I never got back on him either. Trainers must have been harder to please back in the day, or Joe Pride is a forgiving human being.😀
