Cambridge Stud has another bite of the cherry with Pivotal Ten
SLB2.0 replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Galloping Chat
Without knowing Colin's financial situation, you'd have to imagine a 50% share is worth well more than $500k. But... how many SI-trained runners have over $1m in stake money currently? I'm surprised he gave up half a horse, but as I said, no idea of his financials. -
Great run by Savaglee, and great to see someone post it, as it's nothing but crickets at the other site.

The word did not go out to Emily about using "aftermath" - and it has been used around 4-5 times.

Ozzie Kheir selects Public Attention for the NZB Kiwi.

Good. The race desperately needs some Australian interest - and after running fourth behind Broadsiding/Swiftfalcon, and Aeliana, he should be right in the thick of it. Wouldn't surprise me to see the finish being between Evaporate and Public Attention. -
Riccarton and Trentham's times have never been accurate. One thing I do know: if I'm training a horse in NZ, I'm telling the jockey to settle on the speed. Almost impossible to win off the speed at some of our tracks. Works for Waterhouse in Aus.

2mm of rain in the last seven days, and yet it's a Soft 5. You run your horses in the middle of summer because they tend to prefer good, or at the very worst, dead tracks. With no rain forecast, why are they scared of the track becoming slippery? Or are good tracks gone forever? And, will they upgrade the track after the first race as usual.

NOW OFFICIAL that Pivotal Ten has a slot for the NZB Kiwi

"What has you disciple Sunloon girl told you that Aussie jockeys should replace NZ ones on another horse has he...just like he suggested maybe someone else should ride Pivotal Ten...both of you do not have the word loyalty in your vocabulary. Kiwi jockeys do OK there is plenty of speed in the race so dont worry your precious self about how it is run there will be OK tempo." Firstly, Leigh. Please don't use the word "vocabulary" when your grammar represents someone who left school at 12. Secondly, I know you love to spread lies and let RC users log into other people's accounts to make posts, but I never said "Aussie jockeys SHOULD replace NZ jockeys." But you know that. You can read (I think), you're just shit stirring as always. You'll never have a horse good enough to worry about what you would do. Loyalty? You should afford your members the same gratitude, instead of banning anyone who disagrees with you. How's that for loyalty? -
I think he equates growth to prizemoney increases, which he shouldn't...

NOW OFFICIAL that Pivotal Ten has a slot for the NZB Kiwi

Yes, the opposition in that race was relatively average. However, class is class, and if she can beat this field, she'll be deserving of the praise. Realistically, a top-four finish would be good. I would actually like to see her run the Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge at The Valley. Moderate sprinters, tight turns, and no chance for the backmarkers to come 6 wide and run her down. Her future has a lot of options at many different levels. -

I think the opening sections last Sat were correct. She seemed to go extremely hard early, which can often work around tight-turning southern tracks. Would that work around Ellerslie, unlikely, so hopefully she can settle better. In saying that, it's not like she's taking on a genuine Group 1 field. It's there to be won, but I think Evaporate could put a space on them. Good enough to run the Cox after all. -

Would be great, and you would think going to the front makes the ride easier than having to weave through traffic, especially at Ellerslie. -

Firstly - for those reading on the other site - this isn't a critique on Wynne's ability to ride a horse. We see jockey changes constantly when it comes to New Zealand horses heading to Australia because Aus riders are better suited and more experienced in that arena. So it doesn't take someone with a higher IQ than Scooby to realise my post wasn't about her ability to ride Pivotal Ten to victory (I hope she does), it was whether the horse is of a high enough stature to warrant interest in riders more suitable to the conditions, as we see every day, every month, and every year. If PT goes to Aus, will Wynne ride? Of course she won't, so the question is valid. -

What do we think of Wynne riding at Ellerslie? It's a different kettle of fish in the big smoke, which is why most provincial riders don't make it riding in the city in Australia. Would the horse be better off with say... Blake Shinn or J Mac riding? Not a dig at Wynne, and she trains it obviously, but just putting it out there. -
Never cash out - and really, don't place the bet in the first place if you're thinking about getting cold feet. People who cash out before the last leg are who the TABs prey on, and they're just as bad as each other.
-
Agreed - bunch of horses no one has heard of, let alone the general public.
-
Question: Nucleozor smashed Pivotal Ten earlier on and is unbeaten. Where is it now?
-
Speaking of southern golfers - Cooper Moore is our next young star. He should target LIV and get a big pay day because making money on the PGA Tour is nearly impossible.

Could be the only filly to ever stay in Leo's stable

Nothing good comes by going to Trentham unless you want to post an incorrect time. Looks to be a nice type in the making. Beating arguably nothing, but winning by 8 lengths negates that. When is the last time a South Island-trained runner went to Aus and had success?

When JJ Flash says sell every other analyst says BUY!! Entain shares.

I love it when JJ and Leigh know they're wrong, so they comment about the poster as opposed to the post. Entain's shares have clearly risen in recent months. -

"She has black type already Colin...you are only 3 once and the Kiwi is huge money." I don't want to give him too much airtime, but Scooby had this to say about Pivotal Ten... the same guy who thinks Rogerson hammered Sharp 'N' Smart as a 3YO.... and yet, you're only 3 once and there is huge money to be won. So you can run one horse into the ground at 3 but not the other? -

"Thanks for the PM from one of the two real members from Dougs shyte site who love to try to trash me...and yes I do stand up and say that I think Pride Of Jenni should NOT be raced again...I think she has done more than enough and deserves better than to be risked again...now SLB you loser as Leo rightly said...can take that and put it where the sun don't shine...just like the others who frequent the cesspit site and comment about me...who can not post here as much as they would love to..you know why because this is undoubtedly THE BEST racing forum with THE BEST posters...cheers have a happy day." Scooby is going off! Even using Leo as a measuring stick for opinion. The same guy who sends boxers to picks fights with people, the same guy who assaults police, the same guy who illegally gives out a murderer's name to the public, the same guy who dresses like a confused lesbian. Yeah, find someone with better authority and balls if you want to make an impact. Keep silencing those you disagree with. Your opinion means nothing. It means nothing on your site, and it 100% means nothing in society you absolute cretin. -

No doubt, Curious. Which is shocking behaviour from a webmaster. Not only that, but he allowed a certain individual to log in under someone else's account (not to their knowledge) and make posts. It's abhorrent behaviour - borderline criminal, given what was posted.
