So you are saying that Race 1. There is a 4 point ratings difference and the mare receives 2kg for the ratings and 2kg for the allowance. Race 2. There is a 0 point ratings difference and the mare receives 0kg for the ratings and 2kg for the allowance. Yes I agree. Your male can keep losing as much as he likes. He will continue to have to give away the 2kg allowance.

That would be pretty funny to see them try. The betting agencies just won't accept NZ customers any more is my guess. They already have plenty of banned territories and anti money laundering processes etc. If you don't have a valid overseas debit/credit card and address, good luck. And even then you know they will most likely run their double-checks when it's time to make a withdrawal...

Good horse. No shame in losing to Moscow Flyer, what a champ

A legend. Highly recommend watching this one with your better halves.

And you're surprised there's a growing lobby to ban whips?

They would probably give horses the vote. (This comment will not read well in 100 years) -
Whats with the doxxing Chief? Why would you publish a members personal details?

Titanium balls to let it all ride. The cash out offer may have been insulting?? Perhaps he is laying the bejaysus out of Koepke on the fair thats what I would do, to lock in 60 or 70k.

Quite the double take reading the CEO's rose-tinted report compared with the bare facts that turnover on tote, sport and fixed odds are all down. Numerous mentions of merchant fee increases yet the breakdown in 7d shows a cost of $2.3m, the same as 2018. Where are the large technology costs related to the 'fixed odds platform'? In 7a only $1.5m is noted. Does this mean there is a massive overhang about to be dumped into the next period's report??? There is no cash in the bank, so unless revenue has spiked up more loans are presumably being taken out right now to cover stakes, software leases and any further fall in revenues. This will be fun, not much room on the equity front to absorb a $50m lease. Government handout for Christmas, anyone?

The racing industry should have drived them out of business long ago by putting out rival content for free. I am happy to see paid subscription models fail, the industry needs as much publicly available news as possible. Imagine if every Winx article was paywalled!!

C- I. just. want. the. information. fast. No site upgrades since launch ... this implies a standoff between TAB and suppliers, no? Could get very juicy if the TAB actually have some smart performance clauses in there and are witholding payment.

It was a troll to wind up mardi .. thats why I asked .. and why he didnt reply

Aus racing obv superior but there a site where all aus race replays can be watched easily like on nzracing? Ive tried before but found it disjointed / paywalled. Thats a big part of the overall package for me. Re best runs .. I thought Rondinella really stepped up well yesterday gave VDD a few lengths start then made a long run covering much ground. In the last at Matamata Voler Pour Moir slipped on the turn then really turned on the turbo. Probably didnt beat much tho.

Lets not bring cardigans into this. Cardigans are for everyone

Has anyone had success in being able to export NZ race results including the race comments and the stipes comments? TAB site only has the form PDFs, and loveracing.nz's CSV/XML does not include those comments. Any ideas?

The intent of WH's comments is unclear. What I am sure about is he was not talking about physical weight being carried, he is talking about rating points. Leaving that aside and looking the table on its merits, the min weight strike rate is explained away by runners out of the handicap. For the mid weight band I would be interested to see the table extended to show the % of male versus female runners, since I would expect the mid band to be quite female dominated proportionally. Why does that matter? Well maybe it is evidence that the equilibrium allowance is 2.5kg rather than 2.0kg.

Best fluctuation for all on course punters

On rebates I guess its a legally fraught area. And rightly so. Id like to see the decision in the clubs hands. They have their cut of turnover and if they want to run promotions or rebates for punters on course go for it. Rebates for online punting I dont agree with because (hypocritically given my derail above) keeping quants out of the pool is a good thing for everyone else looking for value.

Standing Ovation. The max allowed was $83. Anything over that was 'referred to trader' and declined. I was able to get on ok today tho. Im probably just paranoid they will use the new tech to turn into a bet365.
-
Indeed .. I cant even get $100 on an Oaks runner FO

So you have started a topic, reiterated your dislike for the conditions and are now asking me to tell you what those conditions are? Do you not know what it is you dont like so much??
-
I can read and understand the conditions in a few seconds. Starting weights for age/sex then a list of 7 bulletpoints, 3 of which only apply to winners of 2yo or 3yo races. Show me whats not simple about it? I would add that the conditions should appear more prominently for punters. But that applies for all race types.
