  1. Time for you and a few others to open a Betfair account if you want to lay AS or any other stables horses. Greg
  2. Bookies odds look very interesting ,A lot of money going onto Chase Auckland Any NZ victory will do me. 3. Must be OK as AGH uses him a lot Greg
  4. interesting interpretation of my short reply post. I didn't realise you have to have a negative view about a certain stable to enable all the love from other posters. What no one on here bar Brodie is give up a solution to end that stables dominance and how to beat them. His was from memory - "Export them to Ozzie permanently" or some such comment. Fact is R Dunn bought more yearlings than AS clients last yearling sale. Surely he must have purchased some talented juveniles to take them on this season when the big money is up as you put it.. Hes not a defeatist and nor is HTP's trainer for that matter. Greg
  5. With that sort of attitude Purdon and co will be laughing big time. Very defeatist but fortunately not shared by other professional trainers. On that note didn't Nigel,s 2yr old Westview horse win well last week. Trained by prolific yearling buyer last sales time. R Dunn Greg
  6. You blame his stable for everything else. You were the one saying not sure why but enthusiasts would know. Go on answer a question just for once I.n your life or are you just making up stuff as per Greg
  7. Cant be Purdon's fault as he hasn't nominated anything . Auckland Fields look super for the juveniles as well.Tell us all as an enthusiast why there are only 2 noms.??? Greg
  8. And right on Cue,this I have no idea as im not sure what race you are talking about but i think most will see the correlation i brought up a few posts ago. Greg
  9. I agree, the rules are there for everyone and are well documented. If someone did strike his horse say 12 times and nothing was done all hell would break loose on here about how hopeless the RIU are for not being consistant. I'm thinking M Howard may have a previous charge or possibly asked for fine over suspension. Greg
  10. 4 wins last Saturday at Menangle ensuring they will have 3 of the 8 starters in MM. They seem to be doing alright as far as i can see or are you just a tough judge Greg
  11. Ive always been prepared to forgive a youngster a bad first run but as you say it went ordinary from an outside point of view. lets see what the report says and whether it goes any better 2nd up Greg
  12. Hard to say until the end of the season. Blood thing is a myth. Available to all stables apparently .Didn't they win NZ Cup though. I had a great result on the punt in the Sapling. I'm ok with others taking the AS Team.on. Makes for better prices. Greg
  13. Normal service resumes in Sapling. 1 2 3. A great quinella and tri. Greg
  14. I think we all know who the positive factual people on this thread are. Greg
  15. I'm amazed you haven't Mr Troll It's your preferred style from what I've seen over last 4 or 5 months. Greg
  16. I'm hearing you but as the NZSBA rep said breeders needs something positive from sales to reinvest . Somebody recently summed it up with something like an auction finds willing buyers and sellers. Greg
  17. I think we just reached that point a few posts ago Greg
  18. Good prediction HTP CHCH went real well. Greg
  19. You are so far off the money once again that your making a fool of yourself. You should try dealing in facts for a change like i have been showing you , real ones , not your disillusion 3rd party ones. The correct initials are NZBS and NZSBA, two entirely different organisations Greg
  20. Whats whether people can afford to take a risk got to do with the topic at hand Flag U. He has been proven wrong on all fronts on this topic.FFS he doesn't even know who runs the sales and thinks that this years Bettors Delight yearlings cost their breeders 30K when the most anyone could have paid was 15K 2 seasons ago The rest is just your usual obsessive garbage. Im starting to think you miss Racecafe such is your continual subtle and non subtle references to it and its contributors on a regular basis. Greg
  21. Surprisingly no response from Brodie - he may have finally seem the error of his ways and given up the non winnable fight on this topic Ranga Greg
  22. Brodie, what on earth are you on??? Brad is from the NZ Standardbred Breeders Association. The sales are now being conducted by NZ Bloodstock Standardbred division. How you could get those two confused is anyone's guess Way off the money on this one, again Greg
  23. Thanks for clarifying the obvious to all but one contributor here Brad. He will hopefully give up now with the nonsense he has been spouting off on this subject. Greg
  24. Volume discounts are normal business practice and you usually find that small broodmare owners will band together, sometimes with the aid of trainers, to get the lower price. With Bettors standing at 25K or 20K with discounts id say you are getting a good deal. Have a look at what 25 K will get you in TB code Greg
  25. I spoke to 3 vendors and they all told me their service fee for the yearlings they sold yesterday was 15K plus GST and a 20% discount for 2 or more years. Thats 12K plus GST. I have no reason to doubt their words in any ways given they are all in the breeding game and have been for some time. That was a nice colt you bought BTW, i hope it goes good for you. Greg
