Yes, appreciate the TAB policy of full payout, I was just confused and expected the same from Betcha, both being Entain. One of those little differences between TAB & Betcha that isn't obvious until you experience it yourself. Time to move on. Findings: TAB pays full divvy on fixed odds deadheat win bets Betcha divides the dividend by the number of horses in the deadheat. Happy punting.

It was a weird market, Delightful Peg opened around $13's I think, I saw her drift to $21 early in the afternoon, so backed her then on the TAB. Then later in the afternoon she drifted to $31's as you got Nowornever - I did even better, I backed her to win on Betcha boosted odds $33, and I also backed her Money Back Odds 4th at $24's. I don't know, but the punters must have come for her after that because she must've closed at those $16 odds. So the TAB paid full odds, my $21, Betcha halved my odds at $16.50 and $12, so the question I want answered - are the TAB & Betcha different and that's just the way it is (that seems weird), or has Betcha ripped me off?

Does anyone know the rules around deadheats. I had a feeling the TAB paid full divvy on deadheats. I backed a deadhat winner yesterday on Betcha and also on the TAB - it looks like the TAB paid full divvy, yet Betcha halved the divvy - anyone else back a deadheat winner yesterday, what site, and what divvy did you get?

I see 7 horses have had a stable change from the Burrows stable. Has Burrows been side-lined whilst the investigation takes place? Anyone know the latest on the investigation and any sanctions on Burrows?

What a race. What a horse. Good run by Spirit of SL too for second. I notice McCarthy's bike didn't have a dust sheet, I don't watch a lot of Aussie racing, is there a theory around no dust sheet, anyone? -

Methven Trotting Club: The Glory Days! Oh we wish....
TheHorseman replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Trotting Chat
Good ol days at Methven, I remember being there in 2003 when G D Shand won the Methven Cup with Eastwood Jaunty, it was so bloody cold that when George Shand came back to the birdcage he had tears running down his face. Just looked up the race again, good to hear Reon calling it. Been there in the snow as well. https://harness.hrnz.co.nz/gws/ws/r/infohorsews/wsd06x?Arg=hrnzg-Ptype&Arg=RaceVideo&Arg=hrnzg-RacehdrID&Arg=84559&Arg=hrnzg-rSite&Arg=TRUE -

Geez they'd get a life ban for that carry on these days, also watched the 1995 edition, Chris Alford behind Golden Reign would've been gone too, foot out of the cart down the straight with several haymakers ..... you can understand why things had to change around use of the whip !

Check the whip action on that 2nd horse Alby Logan.
