  1. From the draw I not sure if Mad Lu Li is good enough to beat Sans Le Sou or Belle of Brooklyn but another race with many chances
  2. Yep should go close, that is a very handy maiden field though with a few trial performers and a couple of handy raceday performers.
  3. Samantha to win the drivers challenge, not sure what paying but anything over 3.5 good money
  4. Just seen I been blocked from RC also.I been member there for nearly 30 years and have run a lot of comps that have probably cost me $2000 monetary wise I tried to be neutral in the debate between the 2 sides but obviously somebody has made an easy decision for me.
  5. I just cant understand how Moriera has underperformed so much in Oz .So Classy and rates horses beautifully
  6. How good the riding at Sha Tin.2 Outsanding jockeys just going at each other
  7. I wouldn't be surprised to see more 4yos than usual start in cup this year as seem to be a few around that can stay
  8. I am sure Brodie would have been on early especially with Mark driving
  9. Talk of the trainers you say yet is advertised so any trainer can do it. Gives an advantage yet any trainer can do it. Expensive, not really $1000 for 40 or so vials works out $25 per vial Come on Brodie and Pete(Hunterthe punter)do more homework.
  10. Fella Korotschuk wasnt it?For some reason I remember him being involved
  11. Actually thinking about it think it was by Red John
  12. Eric had a horse that just wouldn't quicken when asked to go even when tried vigorously with the whip so Eric got a rather large piece of barbed wire and attached to end of whip. Trouble was when he hit horse it took offence and pig rooted and kicked cart to bits and the big fella was left sitting on the track with the horse bolting for dearlife.Eric came in and offered the horse for free to anybody that wanted it.One of our stable owners decided he wanted it and my boss took half share to train it and managed to qualify it and sell it for quite good dosh within few months. Was by Docs Tuck that I think John Scott used to stand
  13. I witnessed some of Eric's antics at Mot trials and workouts,he would be banned from racing if today's rules were in back then.
  14. Barry Purdons lifetime UDR is outstanding at ,2590.There is probably only Dexter,Mark and Natalie that is better I thought he gave up driving fulltime after an accident that caused back issues, maybe I am wrong because Brodie is always on the money?
  15. A couple of decades back Mid Canterbury was a thriving racing community, now there are only a handful of professional trainers and nowhere near the amount of winners coming from the area. Pat Oreilly snr,,Brian Saunders,Max Miller,Colin McLauchlan,,Dick Prendergast,Jim Ferguson,Kevin Townley ,Denise Swain,Ted Lowe,John Lischner,Bob Cameron ,John Scott to name just a few that have passed away, retired or left the area since the early 90s.
  16. Graham Neill is another trainer from Mid Canterbury that moved up Nelson way.
  17. Pretty sure he moved up there after he left Methven
  18. Yep trained from Methven for many years. Think it was early 1990s when he left Methven
  19. By the 2nd leading trainers are you referring to the Dunn stables. I have been told that they use a lot of gold injections for the welfare of their horses and also obviously use Ketoprofen as the Kirk Larsen trained Melina Lowe case involving a Dunn employee,Craig Smith showed.

Not sure haven't seen him for ages. His daughter Amanda Grieve is stable foreman for Cran Dalgety, after being a good trainer in her own right in Australia.Last I heard Paul wasn't in best of health but that was a couple of years ago.Yep Porky was a good trainer,he spent a long time in Aussie as stable foreman for Dennis Wilson.I assume he still over there.

  23. Hunterthepunter would have been celebrating Dizzys fine run and then later he would have been crying because the Allstars were winning everything
