  1. Good results in their comparable testing.i would imagine they would hope that natural levels the same.Like natural cobalt levels, bicarbonate levels etc
  2. No idea,i only found out about it as lady that does drug testing at work is a racing fan and she mentioned it couple weeks ago when we were talking about cobalt testing.Cant remember if there was a connection between saliva testing and cobalt or how it was even first mentioned
  3. I heard they doing trials to compare saliva and swab testing to see if they get compareable results.Apparently saliva testing a lot cheaper and supposedly just as accurate so they are hoping for good results as the possibility to save a lot of money in the future
  4. Just the way he said Cole/Ahern ripping the industry off for 2 million dollars and it still going on Sounds like jealousy to me
  5. sour grapes mate
  6. R1 Colliver has had a lot of money go on the last 24 hours as has R4 CA Plane and R6 Fake
  7. JUST A FEW FAVOURITES TO MULTI UP TONIGHT Wont get rich but small fish are sweet R1-1 GREAT FANTASY some of you might like to chuck in Whips'n'Spurs and Swinging if you that way inclined R4-5 DREAM MAJOR should be very short R5-3 GEENAS GIRL R9-6 BILL HALEY
  8. Great drive from Blair and a very good horse.
  9. Just got a very nice chunk of first quaddie, cant believe divvie 2nd fave,3rd fave,2nd fave and fave and $360
  10. I would never back him.Probably 99% of my bets are on any of a dozen drivers, generally wont back any other drivers. There a reason why the lower ranked drivers don't win many races
  11. I really think De Lancôme will win the last.I expect it to go on and show its full potential now that it seems over its problems
  12. Surprisingly it even had stated in the ingredients of salt block that contained cobalt and the percentage as well.Hard to feel sorry for him with all the publicity last year or so about high readings in feed
  13. No,i didn't back him but would have been pissed if I did
  14. Yep I read that too,it is pretty well known that horses don't really back up that well from synthetic to turf.In fact I think Bart also said at one stage that after racing on synthetic a few times he ended up having to give a lot of horses a spell because of soreness
  15. I remember the days ,not that long ago, when there would be 7 or 8 cup candidates in the Kurow cup.I would say only Don Domingo and maybe Forgotten Highway any chance of running in this years cup
  16. I see Michael House has a few in today that have opened up very hot favourites,is it just me or does anybody else think that his horses struggle against what is basically Canterbury fields. and cant see why they so short.Never mind gives us a chance to make some decent money on others. R2 Billie Jean for Jack Harrington has been unlucky on raceday so far after some ok trial/workout form.Stepping away could be its problem though Stablemates Cuckoo Nest and Firenze should respectively win R1 and R6.Apparently,according to my spys Cuckoo Nest had a good excuse for appearing to stop last 300m last week, although I haven't heard what it is and just looked beaten fair and square to me,but will give another chance R9 Locksmith should win again if it can step from the ace.
  17. Why do you say only leading trainers, any trainer can use it.That right tall poppy syndrome on this site
  18. Yep,in Aussie Ladbrokes would give your money back saying that in Aussie probably would have been scratched as vet prob wouldn't have passed as over 80% of horses vetted over their are scratched, they eyre on caution..I only took in trebles and still got first leg in so not hurt me too much but know someone who had huge place multi with it
  19. Will throw out a few at odds that I think may pop up today,i think all are definite place prospects. Riccarton R4 Speedy Jax Riccarton R7 Mira Riccarton R8 Strolling Vagabond Riccarton R10 Ahyum
  20. Good work mate, will follow with interest
  21. Gee Nowornever you are game questioning Brodies facts.Dont you know that when Brodie is right he is on the money, when Brodie is wrong he is still on the money,When Brodie doesn't know he is still on the money and when Brodie makes it up he is still on the money. Brodie has never been wrong, just ask his mother.???
  22. I believe that last week Tim reached 4 million in stakes as a driver . Well done Tim,a milestone to be proud of.Obviously most of these were from the Allstar stable drives. I haven't exactly been Tims greatest fan but that is a great achievement for a young fella.
  23. Mind you I can see where Brodie is coming from as I had Clive as my clear 2nd pick.Third run back against lower win horses,it was only the driver and draw that stopped me labelling him as first pick.Actually was good drive so wont underrate Grant again
  24. Thought Ricky May drove it before Grant and Bronson start before that
  25. Nice first4 in race 1,boxed 5 up for 10% and got a nice wee collect. Not good start to multi however
