  1. Don't drink any more now HTP but also don't drink any less Yeah beers tasting nice but tavern not my local now
  2. Kudos to Carl Markham for a great drive. Drove it like best horse in the race and some nice exotics with it Yes talking through my fullpockets
  3. Was it fixed odds,if so I would say odds had changed while between doing bet and finalising. I got caught by that onceand only once.Ialways check now
  4. Has been racing in higher grade and against better horses than Gran Chico has been racing.Which is very relevant in age group racing. I cant believe with the time you have been involved in the industry that you think a horse that raced against r51 horses last start deserves a start in one of our biggest races of the year.
  5. Gran Chico won a rating 55 to 61 race All the others have been racing in R65 to 72 or stakes and listed races . Good enough to be in field but hardly deserves it on results.I think connections have missed a trick and this horse has been.poorly placed by them if they were expecting a derby start. Winning a r56 doesnt deserve a Derby start no matter potentially how good horse is
  6. Agree Basil Some would rather celebrate mediocrity than excellence.
  7. Great nights racing. So many kiwi bred ,owned or trained horse racing.
  8. Hunterthepunter do you remember Noel Spicer that trained a few back in our young days ,he passed away few days ago to.
  9. Nice start.Good trifecta
  10. Great chance Ben has done a good job in the development of this horse and also its stablemate One Over Dover
  11. Nice one
  12. Yeah was mate. She been a trooper behind the scene for decades.
  13. Denny would make a good manager for Sarah. He can read a race better than most punters I know.and loves the social side of racing too
  14. Hope it goes good but shit of a draw. Nice horse though mate. Hope it can get into Jewels again
  15. 7 wins and 2 seconds from 9 races for Michael House. Great effort even at a low class meeting with poor horses . These horses struggle to be competitive in Canterbury but grow another leg up there.Good times too.Couple of nice divvies too.
  16. Mark said 10 years ago that eventually he would love to take a team to the States and ply his trade over there.Done it all here so might as well.Watch the standard of our horses drop when he goes.Aussies will be over here in a flash getting all our top stakes.
  17. Wow mate well done 2 out of 2 both at double figures.
  18. Watch market for R8 Smoke N Reactor Opened at FO $7.00 then into $5.50 then punted into $1.16 and now drifting. On totes been punted win paying $3.00 but $5.10 place
  19. Nice start $14.50 /$4 Good work
  20. Should have had it on Alister Lowe or Bruce Hutton????
  21. R2 Anamajor was a certainty beaten last start,no value on fixed odds at moment (1.60)but if it gets out to $2 then lump it on R4 Georgias Brown is Nigel McGrath owned and trained,i not a big McGrath fan but this one looks well placed to make an impact fresh up over short distance from a good draw R8 Kardesler, has been going good runs in much stronger fields.Good value at $8 from a handy draw Roughie could be Fekitoa($33/$7.20 fixed) in R1,would need to trot all the way though but if it does watch out
  22. I noticed that my self Ellerslie were out yesterday as were a couple from Awapuni and Wingatui Put my multis on this morning so probably won't worry about having a bet at trots
  23. Thank you Probably need more than luck but im happy no matter what I have made a great profit for the week 4 very good days punting
