20 years ago I was a trebles punter.But with %bets now it not worth it.I used to take 5 each leg,spend $125. I got some big ones too.When i was young I used just take 2 horses leg ,spend $8 as was on low wage.I got $6800 treble when I was 16/17yo.Just started working fulltime in a stable.Remember it well.Dad used to have put my bets on,and collect, because I was too young.Worthy Adios,Patchy Boy and Millions and Millions at Oamaru.Also got share of a big treble at Methven once when 6 of us put in a few bucks for the day and took a treble and doubles.Both Patrick O'Reilly Senior and junior won a leg each and Max Miller won the other leg.In them days you took first 2 legs then went around back.of tote to take 3rd leg if you got first 2 in.% bets have ruined the big divvies now.Ibelieve Trebles and Trifectas should be minimum 33% and Quaddies and F4s 20% But now I take mainly multis,although I do love the Quaddies on big race days especially the Aussie gallops.

I think this is a great chance for Hayden Cullen,he is well known to the All Stars owners as being a very big part of their success.And with Mark being his advisor and still buying for the owners at sales I dont think too many owners will go elsewhere for a while.

Ricky has had years of experience handling thoroughbreds and standardbreds,Would have handled hundreds of horses with different temperaments over the years.He a very well respected person who seems to be able to read horses and drivers moods.And a hell of a nice guy too,doesnt think he any more important than anybody else

The Whale certainly let us know when a race panned out the way he thought it would.Especially with Spankem.leading when 90% of punters knew he would lead.First thing he done after race was blow his own trumpet. I find him annoying,mind you .

The Fixer will be first out giving Copy That the trail for first half.Then Classie Brigade will come around with Spankem,Ashley Locaz and Self Assured following 3 wide.CB will be happy to move outside the leader knowing the Allstars will probably go lead,trail and outside lead.Giving CB the 1-1 and putting Copy That 4 back.on fence. Self Assured and Spankem will fight it out down straight with Ashley Locaz stopping and Classie Brigade will flash home for third.Copy That getting through late for an unlucky 4th.
