  1. "And we would like to thank the owners, especially those who travelled from locations that far exceed that shithole we call Awaapooooni.............."
  2. Baahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaa New Zealand Racetrack management are leading edge. NOT. Complete fucking idiots.
  3. Have to say I am impressed with Rory since he has come back for the Summer. He has been an excellent addition to the riding ranks, but it is his demeanour and maturity that are certainly evident. Those years in the Sydney competitive environment and his close association with the Waller stable have proved extremely beneficial. Well done Rory.

  4. Group 1 Day - well done to the track manager for presenting a PERFECT track but.........I have never seen such a small crowd on a Group 1 day. Where is everyone??????? Is the Trackside presentation with their massive crew that good, that people would rather stay home????
  5. Naturally Mr Kennedy will have his travel costs reimbursed, because he is so highly revered , as a money magnet for the TAB. For all those other participants, from the Deep South to North Canterbury, you can all suck it up and get stuffed.
  6. Has Pitty had a fallout with Greg? No pre or after race interviews with Michael or Matty. I miss his worldly wisdom, especially the punting strategies.
  7. Restricted.......unlikely mate. I take an occasional Pick 6, with very limited success, with the NZ TAB, my punting is nearly always with Ladbrokes, with slightly better success 😛 Appreciate the get well thoughts. Cheers. I keep thinking that Holy must have been an little ankle biter terrier dog in another life.....you know the ones that continually yap and yap and yap and then bite when you look away. And' don't start on me Holy, I'M NOT IN THE FARKING MOOD OK
  8. There are a lot of negatives with being housebound.- it's not normally my go, but I'm a bit under the weather at present and like it or not, I'm stuck in front of the television for extended periods of time. This morning I've already viewed a number of news and sporting websites, checked the fields for this afternoon, both here and in Australia, and had a couple of cups of tea, some toast and honey, and of course emptied the catheter and taken the copious quantities of prescribed so- called "grumpy reduction" medication. But there has been one big highlight this morning. Whilst looking at the Ladbrokes website, I noticed a race coming up at HORSESHOE INDIANAPOLIS. It got my attention straight away. I've been there, to a conference a few years back. It's a huge complex with racetrack and casino and hotel and conference centre. So I look at the upcoming race, and there is a horse in there with a name that I immediately think "hey idiot, this must be here for a reason, why don't you put a few bucks on it" scenario. So I did and I now have my punting pot for this afternoon. You have a good day Pam. Thank you.
  9. Obviously a grammatical error....words were all mixed up. I received a sentence and got locked up after a sex incident. It happens all the time. Pity someone dobbed me in. There you go...fixed it.
  10. Wingatui was looking mighty fine for trackwork this morning. A huge effort from the local trainers who had the task of clearing the plough to get things started. Every man...... and his dog turned up.
  11. Love this pic taken yesterday at Eagle Farm. That's one proud mum and a very happy daughter.

  12. Too true. I strapped myself into the Lazyboy anticipating a rocket fueled afternoon of exuberance. I ended up asking the nurse for a rectal suppository to get some relief from the pain.
  13. Get on Race 1 No 1 at Stewart Island Picnics today: Sniffy McSnifface
  14. RUSSIAN CONQUEST – Jockey L. Cassidy stated that his mount settled further back than anticipated and had to make up too much ground on entering the home straight.
  15. Might I add that the stablemate looks the quinella
  16. Tomorrow IPSWICH Race 9 Horse 15 RUSSIAN CONQUEST Love the fact that the old team that used to be involved in the Hawkes training success - they won 289 races together worth $16,500,000, still stick together when they are ready to launch. The jock may well be close to the pension, but he knows this track well and is still riding at a winning percentage that I trust. Get on and enjoy.
  17. I agree I have been extremely negative towards most things racing related in NZ for what seems like the last 10 years. It has been a dark time watching our once great industry being allowed to sink into a cesspit of politics and ego trips. The biggest loss has been our people. Every major racing and breeding outfit across the globe has a Kiwi involved somewhere in the bowels. So much talent lost and highly unlikely to ever return. I would love to believe that this new initiative is a start of our resurgence. I've currently got two young ones in work at Matamata. They were going to cross the ditch to race. I now think they might be staying here.
  18. The mixing of real names and household names is a problem and not just in a stable environment. When I am paying the bills and providing gifts and flowers etc, I am referred to as "sweetheart", "you big stallion" and "my handsome man". The moment I lose a couple of hundred on the punt or arrive home under the influence and smelling of perfume, I am suddenly an "arsehole". The RIU would have a field day at my place.
  19. Speaking of nefarious....... A drunk is approached by the police at 3 in the morning:The cop asks:-Where are you going in that state, at this time? The drunk answers:-I am going to a lecture about alcohol abuse and its lethal effects on the organism, the bad example, the nefarious consequences to the family, as well as the problem it causes in the family economy, and the absolute irresponsibility. The cop looks at him with disbelief, and says: -Oh really? And who will give a lecture at this time of the day? - My wife ........... As soon as I get home. Goodnight officer.
  20. As it happens, I do know a bloke, who knows a bloke who does............and for a fee I am happy to introduce you
  21. Chief, I thought with that giant hooter of yours, you would have been able to sniff out details of the clinical, crafty, cynical, scheming, sniveling cartel, that definitely does exist north of Taupo. Dig deeper.
  22. During trackwork this morning an issue with the track at Te Aroha was identified. Consequently the trials today have been cancelled. An "issue" you say, is that right? There is a story circulating about the NZTR track guru. They call him THE COMPUTER. Not because of his high intelligence, but because he goes to sleep if left unattended for longer than 15 minutes.
  23. Pitty is looking the part.
  24. Looks perfect for a job at the RIU outfit. All glitter and no balls.
  25. All power to him I say. His interview must have been sensationally convincing to have been appointed to the role. Who wouldn't want to be involved in Rugby and Racing. Perfect fit. He is obviously extremely talented. No surprise to me he is both left and right handed and footed. He may well speak Swahili as well as English and Latin, writes in both ink and crayon, and can drive both left and right hand cars. He might even have a hybrid Holden as his company vehicle. The only problem I envisage is having big enough pockets to carry the two wallets in, each one full to the brim. The question does remain however, is our talent pool that shallow that we have a need to hire a person who is only working part time in a role that ABSOLUTELY requires full time attention?
