  1. Maybe Chief has that wrong also…..he was obviously wrong on the Cambridge AWT being regularly watered
  2. I would expect a comment like that from you …. Implying the breeders are the mugs …. Guess it’s a bit like this website of yours and how you interact with your customers….. that are leaving your site in droves. nzb have responsibilities to guide breeders, give feedback and support the breeding industry … guess like you they struggle to understand that full concept.
  3. Now your starting to show your lack of knowledge in this area Chief,I can tell you Aussie do have those conversation
  4. Pretty bloody obvious chief…
  5. Actually chief the numbers are a lot worse that my response above as your screen shot was only for day 1 and 2 2021 Book 1 - 579 2021 Book 2 - 339 2021 Total horse = 918 now 2022 Book 1 - 636 2022 Bok 2 - 467…yes Chief 467 2022 Total horse = 1103 But hey NZB still get their revenue if horses don't sell Now you be the judge
  6. You really don't get it do you Chief and I note you still haven’t respond to my original question. Book 2 catalogued was 15 fewer horses than last year, but Book 1 had 57 extra therefore = more horses cataloged than last year, and the same results again…very poor clearance rate. Now go and tell us how many Inglis catalogue for their Melbourne sale and what their clearance rates are. Yes we need fewer horses in the sale, there is other avenues for people to sell $10k horses, but a pass in on $10k reserve horse is still $1,650 revenue for NZB. Now 100 horses that maybe should not have been there = $165,000 to NZB bottom line. Do NZB have those honest/ feedback conversations with breeders like Inglis do?
  7. How about you answer my question first chief, but you probably will not as you are good and dodging direct questions, You obviously don’t understand simple Supply v Demand
  8. Tell me how many horses Inglis catalogued at the recent Melbourne sale Chief
  9. NZB dont care, they just list the horses, collect the listing fees and charge a non sale commission to all those not sold also, more horses in the sales the better for NZB bank account. Trying to sell 1,103 horses in this sale is a joke!
  10. Sounds like a shambles already, why put in new turf training track and irrigation system if they are not going to use it properly. I would have thought that new turf training track would have been a rather important track for trainers given the issues that do come with AWT
  11. Tauranga races again in 2 days. It’s now Monday afternoon and the last track update was 2 days ago….Sat Morn and it was Heavy 10 and not update since. Why no update since Sat morning…..would have thought NZTR and Tauranga club would have been on the ball for this one after the shambles last meeting there.
  12. Well NZTR did a big article on him and his racing team today in NZ Racing news……i wonder if the marketing team at NZTR even realise he has been charged for Animal cruelty…idiots!
  13. Chief, any idea when the case is to be heard……. 2yrs time?
  14. Can anyone even mention what meaningful change BS pushed for and delivered on his watch………I cant think of one that will have a lasting significant improvement for NZ racing. So yes the new night watchman can hold the bat for now….lets she if he digs in!
  15. I thought NZTR were taking “Learnings and Improving Process and Procedures” off the back of the Trentham F up...... what a joke!
  16. Pitman 65 horses and 272 Starters Latta 80 horses and 267 starters Meyers 57 horses and 204 starters Carston 65 horses and 257 starters Harris has flogged his horses the past 6 months….
  17. And 213 starters for the fist 1/2 of the season from those “24 horses in work”……that could indicate a few things right there!
  18. Was very Impressive! Vadamos leaving a few good ones.
  19. If Riccarton think they are a premier club, then they should be acting like one. Both other “Premier Cubs” are allowing owners this weekend, so why not Riccarton. There is even a stakes race on this weekend at Riccarton FFS! They have operated under this framework before so should be able to roll out their processes for the day easily. NZTR are also to blame, they should be making Riccarton get off their arse and allow owners on course. At the end of the day Riccarton are being paid Industry money to host the meeting, that comes with responsibilities.
  20. Now tell me what % of the horse population is within 100km radius of those 4 locations
  21. Agree and cant blame them…..if they sat back and waited on NZTR…….well you know where that would have ended.
  22. Agree with some of your points here, but i also feel NZ racing is and never will be big enough or strong enough to have multiple super clubs across the country. Having the same in CD & Sth Island (regular 100k races) is impossible. Choices for trainers and owners will be on the table……..but its better to have choices than none at all. At least this will make many of the other clubs around the country get off their arse and fight for their club future, they will have no choice but too improve on what’s being delivered to date.
  23. Did your club distribute some of their assets back to the racing community?
  24. Well i for one will be keeping my horses in NZ instead of moving them to Aus. Its not Aucklands responsibility to look after racing in NZ. Maybe you could have done the same on the West Coast (smaller scale) instead of what your club did.
  25. Just the negative comments i would expect from you. Ill give you one thing Chief….you certainly are consistent.
