I am at a total loss to be able to explain how Michael House has been able to win races all around the country this season. To be fair Michael was no better than an average trainer until he started taking many horses to Palmy! Yes I can understand him Winning at Palmy, but he wins at Auckland, Addington and other South Island locations! Something has definitely changed without doubt with his training. Is he involved with this Blood spinning thing, that doesn’t improve horses performance????????

I have been hibernating for the last nine months. I see he has had 24 starters over the season so far, for 4 wins. I haven’t been following the N.I. Harness recently and I knew he had gone to Oz. Obviously didn’t work out for him Jonny I appreciate the acknowledgement as well, that I knowitall!!

Thanks for that Taku, good to have him back as Sean is a very good trainer I would say, and NZ need trainers to stay in the business.

I note Sean McCaffrey has driven at Alexandra Park the last couple of weeks! Sean went to Oz to run a big farming operation I think last year. Dies anyone know if he is back for good, and is he still going to be training again?

Of course Ranga, but the process is so long winded and unfair on the charged! There was this almighty story about properties being raided and harness enthusiasts race fixing, drugs etc and was pretty open and shut cases with all the evidence. As far as I am aware there hasn’t been a single case heard in court, so when is this damning evidence going to be shown?

Sounds like the prosecution are having problems as well? Why on earth is it taking so damn long to hear the evidence in this 500 page book? Win Win for the lawyers

If you put a winning ticket in a self service machine with a collect of over $1000 do you really believe it will allow you to split the winnings into vouchers less than $1000?????? Dreaming Jonesy!! There is no difference to having to present a damn card or your TAB account they both are one and the same, identifying someone who has placed a bet and got a collect from gambling and giving the country TAX! Tonkatime, you clearly work for the TAB! So you are telling the TAB / NZ Government who is collecting $1000? What the hell has it got to do with the NZ government/ TAB as to who is collecting winnings from gambling at such a pathetic amount??? Do you need a card to put more than a $1000 on Tonkatime? Happy, jumps races are far better to watch than flat Gallops racing! Most galloping Racing is a bore fest compared to Harness!

Newmarket, I am always on the money, you know that!!! If someone does pay over 200k for her, they will not be in the money! All you can do is win, but she is a rising 4 year old Auckland Reactor mare, and no big races around the corner for her here. Yesterday she did very little work, sat in the trail and won over 2000m in a winning mile rate outside of 2.0 minutes, and you think she is worth over 200k? She has not beaten anything of any ability in either of her starts and have had easy runs both starts! We are both entitled to our own opinions and that is the beauty of it Newmarket! Time will tell whether she is worth the 200k plus that you think she is. I believe that Brodie will be on the money though!

I certainly will have more time on my hands Tonka, as there will be many of the bigger investors in NZ just give the punting away! Just another nail in the coffin for NZ racing, but then many making the decisions just don’t care!

They would be more constructive if they protested about the rights of punters being able to put on $1000 or collect $1000 without having to present a damn punters card! This is a breach of the privacy act that everyone quotes!!!! If there weren’t jumps races, many thoroughbred horses would be put down earlier!
