  1. Tonka, you should change your name to something that rhymes with Tonka!! What do you disagree with? Give me your best!
  2. Yeah right Tonka. Never contradict myself at all, you are a consistent antagonist!
  3. Tonka, always on the money and you know that. I appreciate you have an agenda but doesn’t work on me sorry!
  4. The KPC competition is a farce if people are exempted from the competition. Punters should be aware by now just how unfair the NZ TAB plays! It is all about them and they just do what they like.
  5. Newmarket, what the post was that the NZ TAB are not allowing restricted punters to enter their KPC competition! Is that treating punters in NZ fairly to any degree? I am not wanking on about being restricted, I have been wanking on as you put it, about all punters having to identify themselves for collecting a winning ticket over $1k! You can Defend them to the cows come home Newmarket, but the larger punters are going to vote with their feet.
  6. Geez you can be an antagonistic xxxxxx State something and then never answer the question.
  7. What are you on? For the final time, what have I said that is at odds with Butcher’s post???? No more flippen riddles!!!!
  8. Cut the riddles Ranga, What is????.
  9. FFS Ranga, are you serious? Restricted punters are being refused entry to the KPC, how the hell is that at odds to what I said????? Go for a run Ranga and get your BS out of your system for the day!
  10. The TAB advertises that they are concerned about punters who lose money, however these are the only punters that they want. Reality is that they should just advertise that they only want mug punters betting with them. To refuse to allow certain punters from entering the KPC competition is just plain BS again. Flawed business model from NZ TAB is to the detriment of racing in NZ.
  11. Ranga, I don’t mind a bit of banter! All the time gets a wee bit tiresome, for me and I would say other participants. You are quite witty often, but having a crack at the Brodster every post is tedious, stick to the knitting.
  12. Ranga, is clearly just on here to troll at the moment, and not worth replying to with that crap.
  13. Nowornever, so now you clearly should be able to understand what restricted punters are having to put up with. Anyway, as I say I just can not be bothered with them anymore and I hope they continue to self destruct, until they start playing fair. I don’t need them, just as they don’t need me!!,
  14. No that is not what I am saying at all and you know it. What I am saying is that if I put $999 on something they will know who I am when I collect as it will be over $1K and that is absolutely nothing to do with money laundering! If you have not been restricted then you will not understand what tactics and lengths they go to to make things hard for restricted punters! If you are collecting under $1k you wont have to show ID, but if you are betting 3 lots of $80, you are not a big punter, and aren’t a worry to the TAB!!!
  15. Sorry, You obviously have never been restricted or know how the TAB operate, so it is a waste of time explaining it to you, as you seem to have trouble comprehending what goes on, when punters what a reasonable bet on!
  16. Nowornever, of course you have to show ID to withdraw money from someone’s TAB account, yes you always have had to. You have never had to show ID to cash in a winning ticket, and now you have to, and why is this? Because the TAB wants to know who the winning punters are, and if it is regular then they will restrict you. Chances are that if you haven’t been restricted up to now, then you probably won’t be restricted in the future. The fact is that with the new BS rule, the restricted punters have no show of getting any reasonable amount on at agencies and the bigger punters are going to just not have a go, unless, they are a compulsive gambler.
  17. Geez, if you bet $999 the TAB will know you are being a smart arse and just restrict your bey to buggerall. Then when you collect from the $999 winning ticket you have to identify yourself and they know who it is that put on the $999. Tonka, if you haven’t been in the situation of being restricted for a long time, then you probably just don’t get it. They allow some people to put $10k on and others next to nothing, fairness is not in the TABs vocab!
  18. Still awaiting an answer from Nowornever! He is reluctant to reply because he is aware he has told a large porky here! You have never had to show ID to collect $1k from a winning bet at all.
  19. So they can damn well still do that, split to $999. It is totally about the TAB having control of everyone that wagers with them and not money laundering at all or they would’ve run with the actual AML Act amount of $10k. The NZ TAB are not about being fair or upfront, they haven’t been for a long time now.
  20. Nowornever, you are saying that previously when you have collected over $1k, you have had to show ID. Bollacks!!!
  21. What the legislation says is $10k, so if the MIA wanted a tighter regime then they need to change the AML ACT!!! The NZ TAB bosses must be pathetically weak if they could not argue their case that it is going to be detrimental to their business and that their is eff all people money laundering money thrust the NZ TAB. Compromise? What one tenth of the requirement of the AML Act!!!!! This is going to be seriously detrimental to turnover as it totally enable the TAB to stop anyone from winning anything semi reasonable from Fixed Odds and the bigger punters wont now bother. Tonka, there are many things that are turning punters off nowadays, but it is not just the existing punters that are being turned off, I know that there is no way they are going to be attracting new punters to be betting on horse racing or greyhounds. THe NZ TAB would be happy with just sports betting as the costs are so much less! Personally, I will stay interested in the Harness Racing but as for the NZ TAB, I am not bothering!!
  22. Thanks for your prompt response. I am sure most punters do have a TAB account although nowadays it is basically not worth the effort using it, for many restricted punters for the pathetic amounts that they are able to win!! Restricted punters are treated as crims for just wanting to legitimately have a bet, and now have been basically stopped from having a decent bet at an agency or oncourse due to this new policy to control every single punter in NZ. And you are totally incorrect TonkaTime in that the amount as detailed in the AML policy that the police needed to be advised as to money laundering at TABs and Casinos is $10k not $1k. The hierarchy at the NZ TAB are paid ludicrously high salaries to look after the NZ TAB and if they are so damn weak that they could not argue sufficiently with the MIA for them to comply with the policy as per the AML Act, then they should be sacked!!!!!!!! As I have said I am just not bothering with the NZ TABs stupid policy, as I am not a bloody money launderer and never will be or need to be. I don’t need to bet with the NZ TAB and they are probably happy about that, however anyone that thinks that this policy is beneficial for the NZ punter, then they are sadly delusional. The NZ TAB deserves to be deserted by the punters for their ludicrous decisions.
  23. TonkaTime, why are you confused by my comments? What part do you not understand? Do you think that with the NZ TAB treating every punter in NZ as being likely to be money laundering as being a positive? Look forward to your answer!
  24. Sorry, was meant to be blood spinned roses was meant to be horses lol
  25. Imagine the times our horses would go over there if they had their blood slimmed! Yes our roses are far superior to the average horse bred I. Oz, and bear in mind that a lot of our horses that get exported over to Oz are last their best here as well!
