You start with $200 and you have to spend a minimum of $20 per race You can offload the whole $200 on the first race and then all the winnings from that into the second etc. So it can amount to hundreds and thousands not just the $200. If they are not worried about breaking them, how come restrictions on many punters are so Harsh?

Yes First Son had an opportunities to come off the rail. However what I found unusual and often frustrating is the mindset of drivers and not picking on any one driver because most of them have shockers from time to time. The last race that First Son was in, you would’ve said that Alexy leads and Firdt Son trails for the first bit, however Sadhana which drew 6 and driven by Johnny Morrison makes a flier and goes to the front. Now Sadhana is a very limited horse ability wise and probably will never win another race in NZ! Why Johnny Morrison wanted to stay in front and try and lead all the way is very very hard to understand bearing in mind The red Robber wanted the front but Johnny Morrison didn’t hand up and trail. Sadhana was under pressure a long way out and finished along way back at the finish, whereas is he had trailed he would’ve finished a lot closer! If it was the trainers instruction to lead and stay there, all I,will say is that the trainer seriously overrates his horse. As it was The Red Robber stuck on for 3rd so it was a big run. Nothing will be said but the decision to not hand up to a pacemaker and trail with your limited ability horse is surprising!!

All 4 are fixable Happy. 1.Not difficult, starter needs to do his job, but doubt he thinks he is doing anything wrong, 2. You can not disqualify the horse under the current stupid rule just because the Stipes thinkmthe driver has hit 11 times rather than 10. There are different amounts of force being exerted whether it is 9:or 11 hits, amount needs to be taken out and back to the previous rule. 3 Ratings system needs to be altered to wins and stakes won 4. Black type for 2.0,minute speedfor,a mile is so yesterday now. Mile racing in U.S. has distorted everything and maybe we should not be taking any notice of U.S. times? Anything that qualifies can run a 2 minute mile rate over 1980m at Addington so time to amend to say 1.57 mr for black print

Not too,sure what was happening in the Juniors race though! Why would the driver on Flying Mr Ideal hand up to a horse much inferior to what he was driving and then get pushed back on the fence?

To be fair both of the horses that won were always going to be improved by Mitch and Matt, bearing in mind where they have been trained from. Arcano has won about 9 races and although mainly Manawatu, he would be improved being trained in Canterbury. Noble Mistress is another case as she had shown nothing. There are a lot of horses racing that would be much improved by going into a, professional stable and some Blood Spinning!

Race 5 at Addington tonight was a standing start over 2000 metres for non winners! If you didn’t watch it live, you need to look at the replay to see that it should’ve been a false start undoubtedly. The 3 outside horses all got fliers and were all lengths in front of the 4th horse just after the start! That would seem fairly rare, but the reason being is that they were metres in front of all the other horses on the inside that were metres behind the tape when the starter let them go????? Ridiculous performance

How Mitch Kerr and Matt Anderson have improved Noble Mistress. It won like a good horse and yet it would have struggled to run another place for Maria Perriton as it had been struggling to be anywhere near competitive. Those 2 fellahs are going to be very good trainers. Happy, you are dead right in regard to the big bets that the TAB supposedly takes whereas others get eff all on!! This is why I have had a campaign against the TAB with their unfair treatment of some and favourable treatment of others. Anyway I will watch Harness Racing but as for investing with the NZ TAB, I am not going to bother as it just is not worth the effort with this new BS about having to identify yourself!! Hope all you punters take the TAB to the cleaners! e
