How Far south mooncoin? I was in Cambridge for 20 years so Newmarket was my local in summer ... going down to Kempton Park boxing a normal ritual as well!

Interesting Post started up by happy sunrise on harness section on great names for trotters, anyone remember any good, funny or risque names in the thoroughbred world? 2 that stand out in the thoroughbred world for me were Braless and lakanuki, I can always picture Keith haub smiling whilst calling them!

Kaikoura cup winner diamond moose, ...a few others with good names Ansett, Amaze, Thriller Dee, Faberge,.....a funny one I remember was a northern horse called Gaelic Bonehead and he did had a very strange nut on him!

Another old trotter that used to start off long back marks "pardon my dust", I think a pacer got named that as well 30 years later

I used to like these horses and names.. wooden heart,..win a bottle, Mr woodchips, Mr square, Templar, stortfordlodge, sleepy Baker, battleship, grand slam, poplar country, frosty Lobell, frosty Lopez, sharvid skipper, rain girl, sugar Ray Robinson, palefacetryax........I also used to love anything with an Evander, Hanover or Lobell on the end of it.
