Whereas we only hear about your punting wizardry after the fact and it usually comes with a diatribe about certain also rans.

Thank goodness for the pension deposit tonight TAB. I personally had a shocker also, and I will have to add a month's worth of the pension to balance the account.

But wait, the Melbourne Cup meeting is on tomorrow, and the wife will not notice a small amount taken out of her account, especially when I log it as a short-term loan to be repaid around 8 pm
