Boulevard21
Grandad loved to back the grey. Everyone sees something different. Your favourite grey might not be the best or the fastest. Being only a pup without the experience of grandad, I pick my favourite grey as Maygrove a fantastic earner for those that were prepared to play. The Centaur
Ask any Australian they will probably say Gunsynd. https://www.flemington.com.au/social-news/2018-07-25/iconic-grey-gallopers There was an era in NZ where Silver knight, Baghdad Note and Kumai were conspicuous. But I dare say everybody's favourite would have to be Grey Way.

Freda
My fave of now is Battle Time. He stayed at my stables when contesting the 2000 Guineas...he is the coolest horse. Of yesteryear - probably No Hero.

Mk2_Zephyr
Yeah, Grey Way was a good un, but my favourites from the old days, Silver March, Rastes and old Deino ... made a very nice profit from all those three, but Rastes winning the Wellington Cup was a f great day, night ......
