Methven Weather / Track Conditions?

Nothing in HRNZ site re Sundays meeting's track conditions but a very interesting runner in Race 8  is Michelle.  Given its trained by Jones/Hill why isn't R May driving it as he is not on anything else. W Higgs the owner is to make a reappearance in the Bike.Form comment makes for a good read

" Can be tricky to follow, but did well late last Sunday. Chance with manners."

Its not the worst by any means.

Many late scratchings with transport issues just announced..... one being Valmagne from r10 which is in 4 hours and trained pretty close to Methven.

R7 Tracksarefortrains

R9 Cast No Shadow

R10 Great betting race, not sure why Ruthless Kayla is paying $10, maybe due to the draw but race fit and has won on the track.

Was keen on Rituer in race 8 but is one of those late scratchings, will take a guess on Girls Let Loose in the same race and hope she steps away.

No chance with the bridges closed. It is trained a good 2 hours from Methven.

That will be interesting how it impacts on future racing and travel.  Depending on who you  talk too some reports have the rangitata bridge being opened up later in the week but a couple of locals say its most likely to be condemned for future use with doubts of the other one inland at Arundel as well.
