On what used to be Wellington Cup day huge crowds, good turnover (and with a good successful meeting in Auckland the following evening) you replace it with what looks like a sparsely attended, highly subsidised by the rest of the industry, non-event for which you will earn no money. Put the dunce's cap on and sit in the corner.

BTW who was the starter?

Yes but those in charge at Trentham let it happen.  No balls to fight back.  Where's Des Coppins?

The whole calendar needs to be looked at and by persons without vested interests other than what is best for whole industry , not just how it best operates for what is going on north of Taupo . Another of the great days in the CD which has been ruined is the old "Bayer day" . I'm sure people know of others .But then again if you sit on your hands and do nought this is the result . Very much becoming a divided industry .

Mayor/President/Chair of Members council/pick your conflict of interest Wayne Guppy did push back at the Board which was ironic because he was the one who rubber stamped all the NZB/Breeders boys being on there.  You think they were going to say no to NZB? Talk about laugh Trev.
