Ashley
51 starts still a maiden and trainer hasn't had a win in five years. They Should only be allowed to race at Stratford or Avondale against Gabriele.
Murray Fish
from the slowlearners club! some of us take a bit longer to learn how to do it than others! If the horse is health and is safe to ride and they pay their bills can they not race?

So many who find so easy to criticise from the outside, its not an easy game or if it is perhaps Ashley you can tell us all how easy it is?

The game is made harder by slow bastards like this that get in the road of up-and-comers with ability. The head poster is correct, a 51 start maiden should NEVER be allowed near a racecourse. Know when to hold, know when to fold, know when to walk away, and know when to run !

So what number is the maximum allowed. Is it 51, is it 50, 40 - what is it? And how do you come up with the answer to that? Too bad for the likes of Goldysox that had its first win at its 55th start. Or in Oz, Havazac that had its first win at its 56th start paying $6.50 to win - having already won $43k in stakes. Or a relatively lightly-raced Azawary who finally cracked it as a twenty-plus start maiden.....and eventually won a Sydney Cup.

The horse is more than entitled to going around seeking it's first win, getting in the way of others horses, I'd venture to say most clubs would be glad to see it nominate for their meeting the way things are at present. You don't have to back it.
