No wonder punters not betting, its not all about covid-19, its the shit product offered. Might be good to see racing pulled, many would have to get another career, why not. 2 Quote

Avondale which hosts the Sunday Markets may be in trouble. However some out of the square thinking could solve the problem. Actually nothing wrong with the track or facilities. Quote

The place is worst racing venue in NZ by a mile, it’s a shithole. The track is a disgrace, and the jocks ride it poorly, soft leads and as Newmarket says virtually zero runs on. It’s overtaken Ruakaka as a place I don’t bet at much. 1 Quote

So they are not a burden on the industry like some other metro tracks. Attempts to close them down would see a demonstration of Craddock proportions 1 Quote

How about participants trying to get to and from the venue? Do yourselves a favour - sell and use the money to relocate, because at the moment you are a burden, and you are an embarrassment to our industry Quote

Right now the facilities should be contracted to the government for use as isolation centres, schools or whatever. For example as a caravan park. 1 Quote
