Pete Early should be in the Hall Of Fame and paid a pension for the dedicated work over the years he has given to our sport... Trevor needs to retire now with a huge thanks for his dedication and given a free pass to the Casino in ChCh.... Jason Teaze, is one of the clearest on the spot callers and unfortunatley is getting the same treatment dealt out to Brian Martin by the smart arses that are responsible for driving our sport towards destruction.... There are some dedicated youngsters that have been waiting for fairness, for a long time..Hang in guys and girls as racing wont ever be the same again..So many have been caught with their pants down that have been pulling strings for so long and If I had my way they would never be allowed on a Racecourse again... It just makes no sense, but does indicate just why NZ racing is fooked. Its all about feathering your own nest, and the wrong people pulling strings. Have nothing personal against Roso, but his calling is second rate, unlike his tips which is his forte. Guess what - he was gobsmacked he got it wrong. That's done me over on the radio a few times driving. Andy's calling and form analysis are bloody good. Exactly that, "Meh". As for my opinion, regardless of whether it was asked for or not lol with no disrespect to Roso for the unforgettable, countless amount of hours and passion he has dedicated to NZ greyhound racing over the many years, he should not be calling the races. As an analyst, currently, there is nobody that can compete with the information that he supplies, however, when it comes to commentating, I'm sorry, but it is not good at all. There is no enjoyment in listening to it, I've resulted to muting the tv and just watching. There are so many young ones waiting for an opportunity and it's unfortunate that they will not get to show case their talents any time soon.
