Happy Sunrise Posted July 3, 2020 Share Posted July 3, 2020 Dear Boys, Could you please explain to me the rationale behind Geraldine TC having to race at Methven on November 28th and even giving Methven their January 31st date? When you reinstate Forbury, Manawatu and even Timaru, why would you not let there be racing at Orari? Considering the stakes were always better than normal, fields were full, Xmas at the Races was the best event out of any clubs to do it, the club by all accounts is very liquid and the racing was excellent. How does it go to Methven? A club with almost too many dates. The decision to make Geraldine race at Methven is even more mystifying considering the major back flip over other venues. Timaru gets reinstated with more reasons not to reopen it than Geraldine. It would be dangerous. Your right there happy,wide out in the last 100m would be a very lumpy drive,but few would get that wide..
