Ludwig Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 With a Labour win, minus Winston, being the probable result of the election, who do you think will be the next Racing Minister, and why? Quote

Shad Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Yeah when he was asked about a all weather track, his reply was, dont they have one of those at addington. Quote

Joe Bloggs Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 You couldn't make this shit up could you? Do you gallop every day, I raced 90 and that classic, what a trifecta, and some have no idea how NZ racing got to where it sits. The frightening thing is they are/were decision makers, scary eh? Quote

It's true alright, some things you just don't forget, would have been correct if it was referring to the harness game, just goes to show the lack of knowledge of these people, who have probably never spent a cracker on a horse in their life. But, if we must have one, putting partisan politics aside, Jan Logie did some excellent work on getting the new Bill fit for purpose. 2 Quote

I first met Jan Logie when she was a first year uni student in Dunedin. She is certainly capable. It seems that there will be a fair number of new cabinet ministers. I fear that racing will be one of the portfolios thrust on to a newbie. Either that, or give it to Twyford. Quote

That is the million dollar question , i have said in the past i wouldn't trust them to run a dairy . The terms " leadership of the racing industry " and " make the correct and wise decisions " , are not terms that have gone hand in hand for many years , and i mean many , many years . Sad i know .
