Chad Ormsby's BEAUTIFULLY Soft Hands...

Recommended Posts

Yea na to that...he actually rides Bulls at the Rodeos around the country

Although one day 2 weeks ago he must have got the lanolin out the night before and given his callouses a good old seeing to...

He was down to ride the 20L trial winner ENDLESS DRAMA...

It was simply beautiful to watch how a hardened Bull rider could ride a Thoroughbred so softly...

He enjoyed it so much though...he forgot to let the brakes go and sat there like a ninny caught in the headlights

Even George Simon was dumbfounded at the bare faced audacity...

So his excuse??

Who the f cares?

The pooor Punters had a right to watch soft hand Luke to at least give the neddy a couple around the ass let alone release the tight grip

Race 6...watch and be amazed...all he got was a f in REPRIMAND

I see they opened an enquiry into the ride but can't find the follow up . T Pike has told them he was happy with the horses recovery and is proceeding with his program . Big weight up so maybe looking to lose some rating points . I was happy got great odds on the winner , but not a good look .

Doesn't it just look like it has some type if issue?  A bit like watching catalyst?

Vet checks all clear post race and once home...

The point is Punters had every right to see the horse have a reins thrown at him...slapped a few times down the neck...even a couple behind the saddle

Just because Ormsby decided it had overaced and was spent meant jot...

Note at the 300M mark...he grabs an extra hold moving the right hand over to shorten his usual long rein style...then...sits there...like a muted David Walker with cramp...after travelling like a winner...

Australian Stipes would have given him 3 months...after Oz Punters had finished throwing rotten toms at him in the birdcage stocks...

A deadset shocking thing to watch

Its previous start on 8 february 2020,it hit the wall at the 200m and failed to respond when given a couple with the whip, dropping out quickly to last.  Vet check showed nothing.

I think Ormsby was probably as surprised as the viewers how quickly it stopped and it wouldn't have made any difference what he did. Still he should have for appearances sake maybe rode it a bit harder for 50m.

At the end of the day, he's a mature stallion ( if the info is correct ) ..maybe he just can't be arsed?

Does the King of the Breed not react to reigns thrown at them?

What about a wee shout or a clickety click...

...once Chaddies cramped hands stop cramping...will he turn around and bite him do you think Freda?

King of the breed or no, he wouldn't be the first colt to dog up when called upon....not that he was called upon...but he would be well aware of what usually comes next.

He's not doing his stud career - if there is one offering - any good whatsoever, and Thommo's assertion that we need to breed runners that need little persuasion and no whips isn't going to get much traction watching his attitude.

And, if he has a problem, whatever it may be, why on earth is he going to the races?

Thomarss you are back tracking.  You clearly said give it "a couple behind the saddle" - how do you do that with the reins?

It's the when in Rome thingy...

Funnily enough, Chad callouses on his hands Orms, just got his 3rd whip violation in the last 12 months midweek...and he had a huge break off in that time....

Beat BEESKNEES nearly 20 times up the straight and got up by a head from Troy's mount...who also got beat up with Troy receiving 7 days as well...

Its a shame he didn't give ENDLESS at least one...just to see if he really was trying...

Chaddy that is

Well the narrative is "he's got one sprint" according to Pike...

But let's get back to the point in question...

Every Punter has the right to see a Jockey try their mount...whether it's by Whip or simple hands and heels...

...or in Chads case...letting the mofo reins loosen...and ignore how the horse feels....what's one or two slaps going to do....destroy its lungs?

Is that too much to ask...David Walkers cramps aside?

  • 2 weeks later...

Well Nabber nabbed it back to last from a wide draw...Pikey didn't have to notify Punters here as opposed to the professional Strayains remember...but he could have if he wanted to...thanks Pikey...

All he had in front of him was a bunch of fannys...what would you do if you were a Stud Freda?

Best performances are from the trail over 1400/1600...

At least Nabber let the reins go as you say...

Off to Stud now...3rd in the Straddy...not bad...a Station Stud at Erehwon maybe?

Although he's owned by some Royal family in Qatar....the country who bribed their way to World Cup hosting...so he may end up anywhere after a few bevvies over a camel hotpot...
