BitofaLegend
I see Freeman is back to rigging distance races. How many dogs will be scratched from that race tommorow?
Cozza
Looking at the field. They all are capable of running a strong enough 645m.
Yankiwi
The question is, how many of them will actually run in the race? These are the results from the last two CD distance races held. 13/6/18 01/06/18

aquaman
Thought I would put this on for all those wimpy sprinters. Notice how well they pull up. No nonies here, no tying up or cramp.

aquaman
Hey Jason, and I thought 962 mtrs was a long race, just a wimpy distance compared to these hounds.?
Yankiwi
Remove the muzzles in NZ & it'll triple the distance a dog can run. However, the RIU would have a field day with those funky hats the handlers wear. I also noticed that none of the dogs collapsed & died in the catching area. Maybe the race isn't as vigorous as a 305m journey. Edited June 24, 2018 by Yankiwi 1

Cozza
Aqua Mouse holds the track record at Manakau for the 987m journey. 61.55 seconds if I recall correctly

There was 3 Aqua's in it, it was a 6 dog field, Dalmeny Olga finished 2nd, and I think one of the Aqua's finished 3rd. Aqua Mouse won it. I then left Mouse in the care of Bob and Delyus, who then went on and won the Silver Collar 3/4 weeks later.

Yankiwi
C'mon GRNZ/RIU, how about some integrity here. Can't you see what is happening (there are years of history of this sort of thing from the EXACT same source)? Here's the Stewards Stand-Down report from Mister Ebby's & Argus Filch's last start.
