Rigging Races

I see Freeman is back to rigging distance races. How many dogs will be scratched from that race tommorow?

Looking at the field. They all are capable of running a strong enough 645m.

The question is, how many of them will actually run in the race?

Thought I would put this on for all those wimpy sprinters. Notice how well they pull up. No nonies here, no tying up or cramp.

Remove the muzzles in NZ & it'll triple the distance a dog can run.

However, the RIU would have a field day with those funky hats the handlers wear.

I also noticed that none of the dogs collapsed & died in the catching area. Maybe the race isn't as vigorous as a 305m journey.

I remember the marathon at Auckland from 527 boxes and two laps. Did any aqua dogs ever compete in them?

Aqua Mouse holds the track record at Manakau for the 987m journey. 61.55 seconds if I recall correctly

There was 3 Aqua's in it, it was a 6 dog field,  Dalmeny Olga finished 2nd, and I think one of the Aqua's finished 3rd. Aqua Mouse won it. I then left Mouse in the care of Bob and Delyus, who then went on and won the Silver Collar 3/4 weeks later.
