I know on paper she is having a great season, and she does sit well on a horse, and it doesn't put me off backing her but watching her ride her horses in the concluding stages of races I'm surprised the stewards haven't questioned her more than a few times on her lack of vigour in the last 100m or so of a race.

She just seems incapable of using the whip and asking her horses for a bit extra the last bit of her races, look at She's Fun today, cruised down to the line in second spot and also Tenfold, running third with a few strides to go and just allowed to coast and ended up 5th, both horses I feel should have finished closer to a better placing if she had ridden her horses out, it's not like she is a young apprentice just starting out?

I was merely giving an example of Tina's front end to explain her use of the left hand whip action...

...which is largely hidden from the viewing public...who wrongly assume she's not whipping said beasts...

...she must have been well taught by CWJ...

...in  RIDEITLIKEYOUFINSTOLEIT's case Tina is getting frantic close to the line whipping sight unseen...

...all the while retaining her balance and seat...

...not eating chups and all over her mount like a drunken sailor...such as you'd be...

And here's the evidence Bazz....in the middle in the green

...there wasn't a sheet show of that showing up with the side on Trackside vision...

...the left hand whip action is favoured by many...All she needs now is to retain balance while pulling the shell hay lee into the right hand....

...all in the blink of an eye...how fast are you doing that bazza??

Sometimes less is best...the opposite ( seeing a rider belting a horse when its clearly buggered ) is not pretty.  People shouldn't substitute losing their money with accusations of a bad ride. Sometimes the horse just didn't have it on the day.

I take it back, didnt see her with whip on left side.

Is that picture really her?

And that was almost on the line...she used it very quickly for 3/4 strides before the post...

...so fast the human eye was only focusing on her perfect balance and steady head..

Its a unique style that doesn't involve a whole lot of pushing out ah laaa the modern style of the J Maccas..

..but as K Parsons said..."they run for her"

look up laura cheshire

That pick wasn't for dirty old men and young whipper schnappers to ogle at Wals..

It was a 'technical' shot to show the power of her near side shoulder and upper arm which connect to the obviously more powerful left pectoral muscles....quite noticeable here

...down the elbow and onto the forearm where the hand is resting on the upper thigh in a clenched position...ready for the whip to slip in...and to punish dirty oglers like you...

...btw...Laura shouldn't be mentioned here as she's promoting the Arstralian Industry

Outstanding effort...and a 2nd with 2 thirds as well

...the left hand whip action was going like a windmill...sight unseen to the audience

...great coordination to keep the head still and maintain balance while that was going on...

Once she loses the claim may have to alter the style to push out more...and the strength required for that...
