Richie
I see the very heavily backed Jesse Alford stablemates in race 5 have been late scratched by stewards. Motor Mouth who struggled racing down South was backed in from 9s to 2.80 within an hour of fixed odds opening while Johnny Nevitts opened favourite and was also well supported.Hopefully nothing untoward going on

Guest CrossCodes
Of course it is dodgy. He isn’t the best of trainers yet seems to turn multiple horses around in weeks. Sad that he has to resort to drugging to get a reputation but appears that is the case. Is he any relation to Rick Alfeld ex harness trainer who went to having greyhounds then disappeared? No relation as different spelling of surname.

But we will have to wait and see what comes out. I did see the riu watching him very closely at nelson . Andrew Fitzgerald bought a yearling yesterday and advertised Alford as his trainer. Picking he will be looking elsewhere.

Bit rough from you Blossom. A very good client of mine purchased the horse to race with Jesse and asked me to see if I could get some others in with him as he likes to race horses with other people. Finds it more fun. As soon as I was advised of today's issue - I immediately removed the horse from my available horses list. Please advise what else I possibly could have done? Thanks in advance. For example came hard at you in another post which resulted in you stopping posting. Now this. Also in recent other posts has just posted to put people down or name call eg Galah (clown), Newmarket (stupid & most stupid post), Whiplash (clueless & gin drinking etc), me (silly & a drunk & sick of my posts). This all in a short space of time. In my opinion Im yet to read anything on the horses of real value & contribution from Bloss's posts. Derek
The real trouble lies with all the fuckin cheats currently involved in our industry! Heaps of people know those involved but are not willing to out them for fear of retribution and the stigma involved . Im told a prominent owner has instructed their trainer not to start any of their horses in a field where any of the suspected trainers have a horse entered ! 2

I knew you wouldn't be too far away. I know Jesse is one of your mates but did you really think the way he can improve a horse was just through hard work? The way Skidaddle won at ashburton was just amazing! how about updating us on last years sale purchasers? Were they all paid for? What about training and breaking in fees have they all been paid for? thanks in advance for your honest replies!

As i have said before,i think the harness industry now is the most honest it has ever been. I think inca has had a lot to do with that, maybe somewhat indirectly in some instances, I also think many of the matters which have come to light recently have done so as a result of authorities taking action, whereas in the past they just ignored it all. Finally there appears to be consequences to dishonest actions. Also I think the lack of domination by the all stars is another obvious positive development in recent times.

Correct Whiplash. BlossomLady - Feel free to come up to me at the Trials/Workouts or Races and ask your questions face to face. I have no concerns over last year's 2 Yearlings. As you can understand; it wasn't a great year to try a new idea with Covid and the major supporter/funder having major cashflow issues due to Covid. In the end its all worked out okay and syndicate members are looking forward to their pacing colts debut this year. If reports are right then it could be an exciting ride 👍 if I could find a missus who was as obsessed with me and my life as you are Blossom then I'd probably have to marry her 😂 Are you stalking me too? the galah
I don't always agree with mr fitzgeralds views, but there is no denying his passion for the industry, and he has combined that with his other skills, to promote and encourage participation, among other things. I think he is someone who deserves a lot ofcredit, and is just doing his best in a tough industry. Because he puts himself out there i suppose he just has to develop a thick skin and carry on the good work.. 5
