KickintheKods
Hullo people at the TAB. I know you are short staffed, over worked and underpaid, but is there any chance you could move away from the pie warmer and get the fixed odds out for tomorrow's two gallops meetings in NZ SOON ? PLEASE. Thank you in advance.

This time of year they are shitting themselves because of all the 3yo's coming out for the first time , anything with Pike or Marsh or other gambling stables always gets put up short or shorter than trial form would suggest . The best part is that they had Ashburton odds out for the weekend before the meeting was moved and the fields are the same so why not just leave them up ? They are ringing around all the trainers to find out who broke the rules and fast worked during lockdown. Geez I thought you would be across that @nomates!
KickintheKods
It is LAZY and unprofessional and is yet another example of why NZ punters are deserting this lot in favour of offshore bookmakers. Example: Tomorrow at Hawkesbury. The odds were up yesterday and as you can see punters took advantage of the offerings and invested early. The magnificently bred Frankel filly of Mark Newnhams has certainly drawn attention.

KickintheKods
I could have sworn I saw a Coupland's pie truck delivering to the Pitty stable yesterday. Share the love love please Michael. I like the apple pies.

Our fields for Saturday come out usually about 10.30am on Wednesday morning , if your lucky they will have markets for the open races and a couple of others , maybe 3/4 races , by 3pm that avo , the rest wont be till late Thursday sometimes Friday . Yet i can get odds for all Sydney and Melbourne Saturday races a couple of hours after fields are out , on the NZ TAB , go figure .

Come on @KickintheKods where else in the world can you get Fixed Odds quoted two days in advance on SIX balloted out horses at Cambridge Synthetic? SLB2.0
They probably wait until the Aussie books release their odds. Aussie has their Wednesday FO markets up on Monday night. Pathetic at the TAB; one thing they really need to improve.
KickintheKods
For those with an interest, the Frankel filly is lining up this afternoon, at Hawkesbury (Race 5), instead of tomorrow, in what looks an easier assignment and has been crunched accordingly. Chief Stipe
Just worked it out. It is Gambling Awareness Week so maybe the TAB are doing their bit to throttle down betting?

Mostly because of scratchings, so watch late moves.
