Gammalite
The kiwis are smacking the local champ COLT THIRTYONE to pieces. Alas Mach Shard has turned up and Albion are running 2600m stands like NZ or something . 😩. Mach Shard cleaning up last week , and even with the addition of former Aucklnad Cup winner TURN IT UP , looks set for victory again . Turn It Up now leased by Vicki (Nat's sister) and going like a bomb. Mach Shard still raced for the 3 kiwis including Katrina (Barry Purdon's wife)... 20m won't stop em. !!!! Mach Shard was 2nd last turning for home last week , And Then Still WON. He's a beauty. Kiwibreds to get all 3 placings again this week ?? GO COLT !!! I'll watch out for that one. THE HONEY QUEEN is already winning for Team McCarthy and Aucklanders the Green family in some mares races at Menangle . Another former Aucklander mare PEARL HARBOUR runs a place every week there as well. What happened to LA ROSA ? she pushed champ 3 year old filly Bettor Twist to a couple of nose photos last season in some features. for Mark Jones and Sam Ottley. thought she would be pummeling some wins this year. Jones and Ottley would push hard at Dunns, Allstars and Telfers in better class races, if someone would give them some horses to work with ........

Well the performance lifts as well. so nothing will change except Aus folk will look for more of em " TOWN ECHO has the picket fence of wins . 5 from 5. Blazing out 1.52 miles every time in April/ May. Not sure if she counts as a 'good' mare or not in NZ as just had the 1 Win this campaign from 12 starts , and that was with Newman at Rangiora junior drivers race ( moderate form while being raced at the leading Dunn stable? ) TOWN ECHO's new trainer, Jack Trainor is proving a 'Grand Trainer ' indeed . and Hart exceptional driver too. Awesome result in THE RACE and Messenger too when visited Nz recently.
Davis
Gamma, my old mate. Don't forget the Australian bred Captain Crusader. He loves it in Brisbane, the colt had a good carnival last year and I think he will repeat this year. Look at him for long place odds, I give you the tip! I think the likes of Town Echo thrive over there because they get regular racing, small field and far better grading system. Here mares like Town Echo have few chances, unless they win junior drivers' concession races, they struggle.
hunterthepunter
Town Echo was always a good horse from day one when trained by talented horseman Matt Anderson then the Dunns

Pretty ordinary standing start. 4 gallopers enough to cause plenty of pain to punters and trailing horses . as are not used to that caper. 'Ban the stand' I say lol ... The 2 Backmarkers off 20m were WAY Too Good . Mach Shard and Turn It Up easily running the Quinella. and old mate , a beaut ex-pat kiwi LL COOL J , a former Herlihy horse completing a handy $60 Trifecta. Absolute certainty beat by not getting clear run. Finished HARD HELD on back of winner , never getting a crack. very unlucky indeed. $1.50 place div here. (unfortunately I only had him for a win as couldn't resist the $4.40 on offer lol.) but anyway will win by Panels next week if draws front line.

He did't have much hope from that draw anyway mate over a mile. The horse was short here too, too short given his draw. Some horses seem to thrive in Queensland and Capt Crusader is one of them.
