Inner Mongolia Rider Horse Industry is no more!

Recommended Posts

I raised this potential outcome a while ago, plenty of horse meat and black bean, now, or sate, I wonder what horse meat tastes like? Guess what, I'll never know.......fucking atrocious outcome for those poor animals, it was always going to happen, I bet a lot will look the other way, .....move on, nothing to see here....yeah, we know.....it's how it goes. They'll suffer the same indignity that those poor greyhounds that go to Macau suffer, .........no words for this......

The thing was that they just buying and sending horses of all description up there and nothing ever seemed to happen . China is big enough if they truly wanted horse racing on a big scale it would have happened years ago , there was never a real will .

He might have fallen out with the powers that be in China and they have extracted their revenge.  Who knows

Ardern and Mahuta are completely out of their depth regards foreign policy and contact. So in the future you could be right.

Quite right.  I am pretty neutral between them but NZ needs both the Yanks and China.  The Yanks wont help us with our trade but the Chinese wont help us with our security

If the Chinese get the shits with us we could be in for a pretty rough right economy wise.

Pretty fine line to walk and I don't know if there is anyone in NZ with the ability to walk it.  John Key maybe but he is long gone

You're spot on, we copped plenty when the CCP imposed all those tariff's on us, wine industry, seafood ind, etc etc, what it did do though, was it made those effected most get off their collective arses and seek out fresh fields/markets, they're out there those markets as we've found.

Although we have a new Gov, our economy is the strongest in the 1st world, we have developed and strengthened markets like India, Europe. Britain, USA and Latin America, China for NZ is huge, so if I was an exporter in NZ I wouldn't be waiting for the inevitable embargo's to emerge, I'd be at all the trade shows and industry exhibitions around the globe and I'd be canvassing the Trade office for assistance, if China says to Fonterra, '' your Gov has been naughty and disparaging to the mighty CCP so now you can cop a 40% tariff'' then the proverbial shit hit's the fan. Having said that, China needs milk powder and infant formula, and with Oz out of the mix NZ has a stranglehold, but with USA asking for help, it might just be time for NZ to cut the trade umbilical cord with the Giant Panda, and think outside the box, and do it quickly.

Dead right.  To NZ the Chinese are everything(trade wise) whereas to China we are an absolute drop in the bucket.  They could chop us off at the drop of a hat.  They do it regularly with the forestry industry and they used to do it with coal as well - just suddenly say 'we don't want any more' which leaves people set up to produce the stuff in the absolute shit.

Its clear Mahuta has no interest or nous with foreign policy except when it comes to pushing Maori centric agendas. New Zealand has to stand up to USA with regards its values which  many have been contrary to New Zealand's. e.g. slavery, vindictive trade sanctions e.g. Cuba & Venezuela, Iran etc, its Middle East policy e.g. Israel, its wars e.g. Iraq, Afghanistan and the flooding of weapons to countries such as Taiwan, Ukraine which make them less safe.

Lets be clear New Zealand's values are not same as America's.

The deal we did with India secured a future for many industries, coal, gas and Iron ore used to depend on China, not any more......when we go nuclear, and it will happen, we have what the rest of the world dreams about, uranium in mega tons, and that is the only way we will go green and cut emissions, successfully that is.....

.Hydrogen wont power industry, even Labor  acknowledges the need for nuclear, the reactor at Lucas Heights in SYD only services the health industry, the Greens don't want a bar of Nuclear, and they want NO horse racing and NO horse exports, or live cattle/sheep export, so something has to give or the grandkids of boomers will starve to death......Labor needs the Greens to get anything through the Senate, they have majority in the lower house only, so carnage is brewing.

.I wont be here to see the aftermath, but fear for the young gen in the years to come.......

Might be right but equally lets be clear that if a Chinese aircraft carrier or two is sighted off Cape Reinga the first ones we will be squealing for are the Americans.  A lot of the world holds the Americans in contempt but if the manure hits the air conditioning I think I would prefer them to be on our side
