Just looked it up, I had totally forgot about that 2yo race at waimate, they got capacity fields every year and some really good horses, funny to see in the 1982 golden slipper, Roydon Glen finished 14th and Naval officer 15th!

interestingly he was also the part owner of really honkin when dale cameron trained it

 Bloody hell Is that right Brodie...I remember they brought him back as an 8 or 9yr old for a couple of runs but can't remember if he wasn't the same or just broke down again.
