With apologies to you CS I really think it is overdue for Thomass to be sent back to the dark side for a little bit(well a lot!) of re-education.

There a fella over there who specialises in dealing with plonkers and I feel that a sparring session over a thread or two with him is just what the young bloke needs. For instance it is quite frightening to think what the reaction to Thomass' initial post on this thread would have been had he posted it over there.

I remain gravely concerned at the clearly unhinged state of Thomass' brain (if he has one - of which based on his postings, there is considerable doubt) and am confident that a trip across to the other side will see him return a changed man - I guess it is a lot to hope for but he might even develop some common sense.

By that fella, is that the one that was predicting a Nats/Greens coalition

Surely  even Thomas could debate with someone who was so far off the mark

hahaha  Tommosanni.....she is ducking and diving to avoid being questioned /interviewed by anyone who can ask a decent RELEVANT question so WHY T F should she get any respect? Gone by Xmas mate.

Complete crap. She's been subjected to an unprecedented undermining campaign by the sore losers from 2017 who arrogantly believe that only National should ever govern NZ. It matters not one jot what Ms Ardern says or does, the mud slingers with their water on a stone campaign will just continue on with their incessant and divisive bullshit.

The very minor hiccups with Curran and Whaitiri are no reflection on Ardern or her inclusive leadership style. They are also a splash in the ocean alongside McCully's farcical Saudi sheep deal etc etc etc etc etc etc and the carnage left behind by National. Rock star economy. Do me a far king favour.

Ardern is a superb leader and those critiquing her leadership skills wouldn't know if their arse was on fire.

There will be no early election. Ardern will be PM for at least 3 terms. The good news there is NZ will be put back on track where people rate higher than $$. The bad news is we can look forward to many more years of tantrums and tears from the sad Nats and their cheerleaders.

Well give her a bit longer and people will rate higher than $'s.  Because there wont be any $'s.

Anyway what does this have to do with racing?  Oh that's right racing wants $'s.

I've noticed you are a fan of long, eloquently worded explanations of why you think our PM is so wonderful Gavin.

Whilst they are undeniably well written and you clearly are passionate about your views, it doesn't make you right just because you say so.

Ms Ardern is not up to the job in my opinion. Winston has her right where he wants her at the moment and even someone as blinkered as you are would surely concede that having someone who only received 7% of the votes last election  effectively having a veto on any policy is hardly a favourable reflection on MMP.

I always find it funny how people such as yourself tell us that the current situation is MMP at its finest but would have been the first to scream unfair if Don Brash had been able to cobble together a coalition of many parts similar to the one we have now in 2005. It was close to happening.

Of course, it's different when the left do it.

Keep drinking the Koolaid, you are in for some huge wake up calls over the next few months.

Yep, apart from announcing another labour govt ghetto getting built in Mt Roskill, petrol prices going through the roof, power prices out of control, Ministers lying to her and getting away with it, Winnie playing her like a draught piece, 140 committees to date and counting...yep its all rosy in the 'cindy' camp

So you're the Brighton supporter Pedro. I've got a program and a few other bits and pieces around the place from when the All Whites played Brighton many moons ago.

Happy to concede Ms Ardern was not what I hoped she would be as PM on two conditions.

1) She gets into a routine of stuffing up.

2) Nat supporters admit that their party did horrendous damage to the country over their 9 year NZ nightmare.

There is as much chance of either of those scenarios unfolding as there is of me winning lotto for the next two weekends....and I don't buy lotto tickets.

MMP isn't perfect but neither was FPP.

Not only am I a supporter of J.A but I also rate Winston Peters highly. My boat won't be overcrowded around here :)

Wow Gavin, I give you points for passion but zero for accuracy and fact.

I do think she is a nice genuine person but she is only as good as those around her, unfortunately this is where it all falls down. There is no super stars in the Labour cabinet, hardly any with real life experience of any description  & any party that is blessed with the likes of Andrew Little & Phil Twyford is going to struggle with popularity.

The saving grace is that National has an unpopular man in Bridges, he will be gone before Jacinda & then it will be all on, the Nats normally dont make poor leader selections twice.

English had to do that to maintain confidence among the business people - because unless you are silly you will realise that the business people grow the economy by taking risks and creating new jobs  not some government department pissing the taxpayers money up against the wall.

And that in simple terms is what Teethcinda and her mates have failed to nurture - the confidence of the entrepreneurs.  And if looking after the businessmen mean some of them get rich all well and good - there are a bloody lot of them like me and most of my clients battling to make a decent living and facing constant shit from every halfwit public servant doing their level best to make our lives more complicated and miserable every day.

Ignoring the risk takers(the business people) is a recipe for economic disaster and if she does not refocus on that then there will be a very hard landing economically and she will be the first one term prime minister in 43 years.

Ya muppet the Global Financial Crisis hit in 2007 and 2008 and cupboard was bare.  The Government was forced to borrow to keep the economy moving or else the poor people would have been hit really hard.  The problem we face now is once again the Nats get things back on an even keel and start building up the war chest and in one term Labour piss it against the wall!

Yes Wally and I am not sure what the link between Bill English's borrowing and the NZ Racing Industry being foiked is either.  Not that I am saying National helped racing(they were a disgrace!) but I can't see how the steps taken to insulate NZ from the GFC are the reason why our game is rooted.
