Doomed
I thought I would check in on the HB races since the fields looked pretty good. Abandoned after one race. Looked like a stunning day and track looked good. Only a short paragraph as I'm speechless...
Freda
And...here we go again ? All the reports, reviews, track manager intervention, assistance from NZ STI....wtf for? When is someone going to wake up that the current method of management just ISN'T fit for purpose?
Special Agent
It really is a joke!! These people in charge appear to be playing. And the money spent is appalling. At what stage does the Chairman of the Board take full responsibility for what is going on in the industry he is supposed to be leading? The firing of track staff at Awapuni is not the answer. How about starting at the top?

And what's the bet that NZTR in their wisdom, with the increased funding for next season from the Entain deal, fritters it away on stakes instead of using it for capital investment in the crumbling infrastructure and providing a product that Entain can sell to punters. 2
Mark D
Lucky to have Messers Sharrock and George in charge eh?

Doubt Entain will give you decent odds.

No such thing as a cartel in nzracing lmao I don't understand your reference to Matamata. MEETING NEWS Hawke’s Bay Re-scheduled to Tuesday 30 May Given there were 115 horses still to race on Thursday the abandoned race-meeting has been re-scheduled for Tuesday 30 May. The programme remains the same with new nominations required. These nominations will close with the NRB on Friday 26 May at 12 noon and withdrawals will be Saturday at 10am. The rail at Hastings has been moved into the true position and the track has or will be verti-drained. As a consequence the Foxton trials have been brought forward to Monday 29 May with nominations closing on Friday 26 May at 12 noon.

Matamata , like Hastings was also rescheduled , many meetings are not and you don't have to be blind Freddy to work out those ones.

KickintheKods
Chief, I thought with that giant hooter of yours, you would have been able to sniff out details of the clinical, crafty, cynical, scheming, sniveling cartel, that definitely does exist north of Taupo. Dig deeper.
